Quite a unique approach to the Revelation

The painter Raphael Sanzio’s fresco of The Prophet Isaiah of 1511-12 in Sant’Agostino, Rome was commissioned by the Head Chancellor of the Papal Court, Johannes Goritz of Luxemburg.

The Prophet Isaiah, the son of Amoz, was a member of the royal family. He made his first public appearance as the Divinely inspired prophet in the year of Uzziah’s affliction with leprosy, and he ministered to the people for about ninety years, during the reigns of kings Uzziah, Jotham, Ahaz, and Hezekiah.

Traditionally, there are four approaches to interpreting Revelation: 1) preterist, 2) historicist, 3) symbolic, and 4) futuristic.

The symbolic view maintains that the Revelation portrays the conflict between good and evil throughout the entire span of human history. The Book attempts to encourage the faithful to keep up the fight because, despite the magnitude of the challenge and depth of suffering involved in this fight, good overcomes evil in the end and reigns forever. This view does not attempt to associate the symbols with nations or events in history, but simply with the various forces that make up the good influence and the evil influence in humanity’s journey.

Edgar Cayce approaches the Revelation most closely to the symbolic view, but even here he takes it far beyond the normal symbolic interpretation.

The Revelation, according to Cayce, is a very special part of the great biblical story and should be studied as a kind of roadmap for the final spiritualization of our bodies and minds.

The symbols and scenes in this mysterious book represent experiences and stages through which we pass in our struggle to awaken again spiritually and regain our close connection with God and the Garden we once shared.

Cayce says that some symbols and places in the Revelation actually represent glands within our bodies and thought patterns within our minds.

He explains that “the visions, the experiences, the names, the churches, the places, the dragons, the cities, all are but emblems of those forces that may war within the individual in its journey through the material, or from the entering into the material manifestation [i.e., physical body and world] to the entering into the glory, or the awakening in the spirit….”

This is quite a unique approach to the Revelation.

In every line of the Revelation, every activity, every symbol, we find good and evil rising in a struggle.

This struggle, according to Cayce, is within us and is because we were created to be heirs, joint heirs with Christ, as sons and daughters of God, to that everlasting glory that my be ours with Him in God.

But the material, physical forces, and self-satisfying interests take strong hold of us, and we forget our spiritual destiny.

Yet, Cayce does not see the physical as evil or a stumbling-block to spiritualization; rather as a tool, a steppingstone to aid in our spiritual struggle if we use it properly, as the Revelation reveals.

Here are some examples of Cayce’s interpretation of symbols, scenes, and characters found in the Revelation:

New Heaven and New Earth:

These represent a new mind and a new heart.

Through out the Old Testament you may have noticed that the Lord makes occasional reference to giving us new hearts or “circumcising” our hearts.

Here, in the final book of the Bible, we have received our new hearts.

These also represent a new vibration in the seven spiritual centers. The “wheels” are spinning with a new purpose, a new life-force; one that is spiritualizing.

Therefore, we have a new body, too. One that helps the heart and mind maintain higher consciousness.

Water of Life:

This is the transformative, rejuvenative influence of the Spirit of God flowing through our purposes, which have been made pure in “the blood of the Lamb — which is in Jesus, the Christ, to those who seek to know his ways.”

Ingesting this water is cleansing, making us new and reborn.

But, once again, it is not actual water that we are talking about.

It is the essence of water from within us, as Jesus meant when he said, “He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, from within him shall flow rivers of living water,” John 7:38.

Jesus’ reference to the scriptures is to Isaiah 58:11 where we find a similar comment about the inner water: “And the Lord will guide thee continually, and satisfy thy soul in dry places, and make strong thy bones; and thou shalt be like a watered garden, and like a spring of water, whose waters fail not.”

Tree of Life:

This represents “the sturdiness of the purpose of the individual in its sureness in the Christ.”

The tree’s leaves represent our activities that are as healings to others and ourselves in the material life. The fruits of this special tree are the “fruits of the spirit.”

Cayce listed them in many of his discourses as: kindness, patience, joy, understanding, gentleness, longsuffering, forgiveness, etc.

The tree’s ability to bear fruit each month indicates the continuousness of the influence of this sturdiness and these activities that bring forth the spiritual fruits in our lives.

Cayce’s interpretions call each of us to participate in a great struggle to be born again in the Spirit and spiritualize our lives, bodies, and minds.

    Lilith and Amilius

    3. (Q) How is the legend of Lilith connected with the period of Amilius?

    (A) In the beginning, as was outlined, there was presented that that became as the Sons of God, in that male and female were as one, with those abilities for those changes as were able or capable of being brought about.

In the changes that came from those THINGS, as were of the projections of the abilities of those entities to project,

    this as a being came as the companion;

and when there was that turning to the within, through the sources of creation, as to make for the helpmeet of that as created by the first cause, or of the Creative Forces that brought into being that as was made,

THEN – from out of self – was brought that as was to be the helpmeet, NOT just companion of the body.

Hence the legend of the associations of the body

during that period before there was brought into being the last of the creations, which was not of that that was NOT made,

but the first of that that WAS made, and a helpmeet to the body,

that there might be no change in the relationship of the SONS of God WITH those relationships of the sons and daughters of men.

In this then, also comes that as is held by many who have reached especially to that understanding of

how NECESSARY, then, becomes the PROPER mating of those souls that may be the ANSWERS one to another

of that that may bring, through that association, that companionship, into being that

that may be the more helpful, more sustaining, more the well- ROUNDED life or experience of those that are a PORTION one of another.

Do not misinterpret, but knowing that all are OF one –

yet there are those divisions that make for a CLOSER union, when there are the proper relationships brought about.

    As an illustration, in this:

In the material world we find there is in the mineral kingdom those elements that are of the nature as to form a closer union one with another, and make as for compounds as make for elements that act more in unison with, or against, other forms of activity in the experience in the earth’s environ, or the earth’s force, as makes for those active forces in the ELEMENTS that are ABOUT the earth.

Such as we may find in those that make for the active forces in that of uranium, and that of ultramarine, and these make then for an element that becomes the more active force as with the abilities for the rates of emanation as may be thrown off from same.

So, as illustrated in the union, then, of – in the PHYSICAL compounds – that as may vibrate, or make for emanations in the activities of their mental and spiritual, and material, or physical forces, as may make for a GREATER activity in this earth environ.

Then, there may be seen that as is in an elemental, or compound, that makes for that as is seen in the material experience as to become an antipathy for other elements that are as equally necessary in the experience of man’s environ

as in the combination of gases as may produce whenever combined that called water, and its antipathy for the elements in combustion is easily seen or known in man’s experience.

So in those unions of that in the elemental forces of creative energies that take on the form of man, either in that of man or woman, with its NATURAL or ELEMENTAL, see?

ELEMENTAL forces of its vibration, with the union of two that vibrate or respond to those vibrations in self,

create for that ideal that becomes as that, in that created, in the form –

as is known as radium, with its fast emittal vibrations, that brings for active forces, principles,

that makes for such atomic forces within the active principles of all nature in its active force

as to be one of the elemental bases from which life in its essence, as an active principle in a material world, has its sources, give off that which is EVER good –

    unless abused, see?

So in that may there be basis for THOSE forces, as HAS been, as IS sought, thought, or ATTAINED

BY those who have, through the abilities of the vibrations, to make for a continued force in self as to meet, know, see, feel, understand,

those sources from which such begets that of its kind,

or as those that become as an antipathy for another,

    or as makes for those that makes for the variations in the tempering of the various elements, compounds, or the like;

so, as is seen, THESE – then –

the BASIS for those things as has been given here, there, in their various ways and manners, as to the companion of, and COMPANIONS of, that that first able –

through its projection of itself and its abilities in the creation –

to bring about that that was either of its OWN making, or creation, or that given in the beginning

to BE the force THROUGH which there might BE that that would bring ever blessings, good, right, and love, in even the physical or material world.

    4. (Q) How long did it take for the division into male and female?

    (A) That depends upon which, or what branch or LINE is considered.

When there was brought into being that as of the projection of that created BY that created,

this took a period of evolutionary –

or, as would be in the present year, fourscore and six year.

That as brought into being as was of the creating OF that

that became a portion of, OF that that was already created by the CREATOR, THAT brought into being as WERE those of the forces of nature itself.

God said, “Let there be light” and there WAS light!

God said, “Let there be life” and there WAS life!

  6. blessedistruth Says:

For example, when he was asked whether the United States can assist other countries in economic help Cayce responds:

” Not only will it be possible, but you must do so if you want a lasting peace”(Reading 3976-28, 20 June 1843) . (1943?)

The author believes that starting from this “prophecy” the Marshall plan was made:

“This time, Cayce was listened. In the afternoon of 5 June 1947, General George Marshall convinced President Truman hat was in need of economic help”

(Well, I don’t know what really transpired, just find it interesting that two American presidents consulted Cayce.)

Hawaiian elections clerk has eligibility ‘solution’

Official who says Obama has no birth certificate thinks idea would ‘solve the entire controversy’

The former Honolulu elections clerk who maintains President Obama was not born in Hawaii and has no birth certificate from any hospital in the Aloha State is promoting a simple way to resolve the uproar over eligibility, at least for the future.

Tim Adams, 45, senior elections clerk for the city and county of Honolulu in the 2008 campaign, says all candidates for all offices should be required to prove their identity and eligibility before they can even run.

“The easiest way would be to pass legislation saying everyone has to verify their identity when they’re running for office,” Adams told WND in an exclusive interview last week.

“I do think requiring everyone to certify their identity would probably solve the entire controversy.”

Adams stresses the requirement should be for all political contests, from the presidency down to local races, to make sure officeholder-wannabes are who they say they are, and live in the proper district, for instance.

I went to the P&E site to see, and I saw a big write-up about a FOIA request by Ken Allen of Arizona for Stanley Ann Dunham’s passport information (as well as a bunch of other information).

The post states that all of the information was denied, and then Allen appealed.

He says that his appeal was ignored so he filed a lawsuit.

Allen says that “the judge ruled that the information on Stanley Ann Dunham/Obama/Soetoro should be released as well as records pertaining to Lolo Soetoro.”

    All other information was denied.

Links to documents in Allen v. Soetoro are on this page:

I had no difficulty whatever asking for passport records for Stanley Ann Dunham.

I have a letter from the Department of State accepting the request and stating that they have started working on it.

No doubt Allen asked for records on a living person at the same time, and then put it all in his lawsuit.

I know from the court filings in a similar case (Strunk v State) that the DoS told Strunk that it accepted and started working on the Stanley Ann Obama request, but refused the request for Barack Obama since he was a living person who had not granted permission to Strunk.

That said, I’m still waiting for an answer.

I have no assurance of what will be disclosed.

If Stanley Ann Dunham had no passport in 1961 then it would be a huge blow to the Kenyan birth story.

If she did, we’re pretty much where we are now.

I certainly would love to break the news here first, but in all fairness, others asked first.

So stay tuned for one of two headlines:

Well, I’ve already posted this about a million times, but what the hey!

    From TRSOL

However, the bigger story to this lawsuit is the fact that forensic document examiner Sandra Ramsey Lines has documented in an associated affidavit (PDF) the following:

    2. I have reviewed the attached affidavit posted on the internet from “Ron Polarik,” [PDF] who has declined to provide his name because of a number of death threats he has received.

After my review and based on my years of experience, I can state with certainty that the COLB presented on the internet by the various groups, which include the “Daily Kos,” the Obama Campaign, “Factcheck.org” and others cannot be relied upon as genuine. Mr. Polarik raises issues concerning the COLB that I can affirm. Software such as Adobe Photoshop can produce complete images or alter images that appear to be genuine; therefore, any image offered on the internet cannot be relied upon as being a copy of the authentic document.

    3. Upon a cursory inspection of the internet COLB, one aspect of the image that is clearly questionable is the obliteration of the Certificate No. That number is a tracking number that would allow anyone to ask the question, “Does this number refer to the Certification of Live Birth for the child Barack Hussein Obama II?” It would not reveal any further personal information; therefore, there would be no justifiable reason for oliterating it.

    4. In my experience as a forensic document examiner, if an original of any document exists, that is the document that must be examined to obtain a definitive finding of genuineness or non-genuineness. In this case, examination of the vault birth certificate for President-Elect Obama would lay this issue to rest once and for all.

The above clearly illustrates that it is impossible to determine eligibility based on the widely-circulated certification of live birth and that the only way to determine Barack Hussein Obama’s natural born citizenship status is to retrieve the currently-sealed certificate of live birth.

Somehow, that money’s coming up to Illinois.

MS: Yeah, it’s going to be (laughing), it’s going to be washing up on Michigan Avenue, I think, or whatever.

HH: Yeah, they’re going to find it there. Well, what about Great Britain?

That’s where we find you tonight in London.

They are, you know, there are a lot of pensioners sitting in the park there along Hyde Park who depend upon their BP checks, which aren’t going to be coming this quarter, Mark Steyn.

MS: Yeah, no, and clearly, it’s not…the idea that somehow, BP did this deliberately to Obama, that as British newspapers are beginning to complain, this pathetic president sees this as some sort of oil slick version of the War of 1812-II, just when you thought it was safe to go back in the water…

    HH: (laughing)

MS: I mean, this is beginning to exasperate people here.

BP has paid an enormous price with, in effect, the government of the world’s superpower talking down its share price.

The idea that BP did this deliberately, and is not trying to fix it as quickly as possible, is absurd.

But what Obama is doing now is basically confiscating British pensions.

And at some point, you know, at some point, there’s not much left of the so-called special relationship as it is.

Obama is rapidly becoming the most loathed man in the United Kingdom.

But that situation is going to deteriorate beyond repair if he carries on like this.

HH: A minute left, Mark Steyn. Do we get you back stateside fairly soon?

Or are you afraid they’re going to revoke your status in the United States as a legal resident and would-be citizen, whatever, I don’t know.

MS: No, no. I think after my recent remarks, actually, my house in New Hampshire has just been added to the Obama-BP escrow account.

HH: (laughing) You never know, Mark Steyn. You never know.

MS: I’m confident that my green card will still be valid when I get back, but you do never know.

Don’t they care about women’s rights any longer?!

The judges also referred to the recent decision by the High Court of Kenya, which had the same view on the powers of the court.

In the case, 25 clergymen from various religious institutions had challenged the inclusion of the kadhi’s courts in the Draft Constitution.

In their ruling, the judges pointed out that it was not the court’s role to block the inclusion of the Islamic courts, saying that was up to Parliament and citizens themselves through a referendum.

In the 50-page judgment, Chief Justice Ramadhani said the High Court or the Court of Appeal could only nullify a constitutional provision for being unconstitutional

if it was not enacted as provided for by Article 98 of the Constitution.

(This makes no sense to me.)

  34. blessedistruth Says:

Defeat new law (Not “law” yet)

The three MPs and politician Christine Nyagitha, who is also facing hate speech charges, belong to the No camp that is opposed to the proposed constitution.

The grouping led by Higher Education minister William Ruto and the Church is opposed to provisions on the proposed constitution touching on land, kadhi courts and abortion.

They have vowed to defeat the new law at the referendum set for August 4.

In their quest, the No team will have to contend with their rivals in the Yes camp, led by President Kibaki and PM Odinga, who are pushing for the ratification of the document at the vote.

  35. blessedistruth Says:

    L. Muthoni Wanyeki, executive director of the Kenyan Human Rights Commission, agrees.

“There are disturbing moves to entrench stereotypes of different groups … especially Kenyans who are Muslims, to sow divisiveness that way,” she says.

Key issues for constitution opponents are abortion and special Islamic courts, which church groups and the referendum No camp say are in the draft.

(“say are in the draft” what terrible reporting!)

  36. blessedistruth Says:

Higher Education minister William Ruto has termed the suspension of assistant Roads minister Wilfred Machage over hate speech charges as a “dangerous” trend.

    Ethnic hatred

Dr Machage, who is also the Kuria MP, faces four counts of uttering words likely to stir ethnic hatred during the launch of the No secretariat at Nairobi’s Upper Hill last week.

“We have to amend the constitution before it is passed into law, otherwise, we are putting the country on a slippery road,” said Mr Ruto.

“A constitution is supposed to allay fears of the citizens, not create them.”

However, Agriculture assistant minister Kareke Mbiuki, who had accompanied him at the function, said hate speech mongers should face the law.

“Let’s learn to tolerate each other, but whoever is engaging in hate speech, let him face the law.”

Mr Ruto represents the political face of the No campaign against the proposed constitution, and his grouping is joined by the Church in pursuit of defeating the document at the August 4 referendum.

The No camp is opposes provisions on land, abortion and kadhi courts.

And don’t forget MOU Odinga promised to Muslims if he got elected.

And don’t forget Obama campaigned for Odinga.

Michelle Obama, don’t you care about the women of Kenya?

Or will you look the other way on kadhi courts for Muslim women, so long as non-Muslim women in Kenya get to choose legal abortions?

Frequently Asked Questions on Contentious Issues in the Constitution Review Process

    15. If Christians succeed in rejecting the constitution during the referendum, will we not still have Kadhis Courts under the current Constitution any way?

Christians are actively involved in this matter and will not stop at a No vote at the referendum.

Christians filed a case in the High Court in 2004 to declare Kadhis Court unconstitutional.

The hearing ended in February 2009.

It is regrettable that time has lapsed and the High Court is yet to deliver the judgment.

Christians will next sponsor a motion in Parliament to amend the current constitution to delete section 66 which provides for Kadhis Court.

(This may be a bit outdated, but the opposition is still looking “to amend the current constitution.”)

    Amending law

“The doctrine of separation of powers quite rightly prevents us from amending the law (which role rests with Parliament) or the enactment of a new constitution including its contents which role is vested in the people of Kenya,” they ruled.

They argued that Section 66 of the Constitution, which creates the office of the Chief Kadhi and also entrenches the courts in the Constitution infringes on the constitutional rights of the applicants to equal protection of the law.

It was their view that it is discriminatory and unconstitutional and “should be expunged in its entirety from the said Constitution.”

The clergymen were in court challenging the extension of the jurisdiction of the Kadhis’ Court from the 10-mile Coastal strip of the former Colonial Protectorate areas to those falling outside through enactment of the Kadhi’s Court Act.

The 26 applicants had also argued that the process leading to inclusion of the Kadhis’ Courts in the Zero or Bomas Draft was flawed, lopsided and biased

They urged the court to grant them the declaratory orders that any form of religious courts should not form part of the Judiciary in the Constitution as it offends the doctrine of separation of State and Religion.

  41. blessedistruth Says:

“prevents us from amending the law (which role rests with Parliament) or the enactment of a new constitution including its contents”

So what is the Kenyan Parliament doing?

    Constitution has NOT been amended!

  42. blessedistruth Says:

This reminds me of when our Supreme Court declared the removal of Cherokee Indians unconstitutional.

And Andrew Jackson told the judiciary to enforce it because he refused to enforce the law of the land.

What good is it for the Kenyan High Court to declare these Kadhi courts illegal …

But if the Parliament fails to amend draft constitution, and if the Yes Camp wins …

Then Kadhi courts become entrenched in new constitution and there’s nothing the High Court can do about it?!

Oklahoma Lawmakers Seek Voter Backing to Ban Shariah From Courts

Oklahoma lawmakers are asking voters to weigh in on a proposal that would ban local courts from considering Shariah or other international law in their rulings.

The unusual measure calling for an amendment to the Oklahoma Constitution was approved in late May by the state Senate, sending the issue to voters in the fall in the form of a ballot question.

Though the question’s supporters have not pointed to any specific outbreak of Shariah, or Islamic law, being considered in the U.S. judicial system, they describe it as an encroaching threat.

State Rep. Rex Duncan, author of the measure, has called the ballot question a “preemptive strike” against Shariah coming to his state.

Duncan said in a statement after the vote that he hopes other states will soon follow Oklahoma’s lead.

Fifty seven per cent of Kenyans will vote to approve the proposed constitution at the referendum, an opinion poll shows.

A further 20pc will reject the proposed law, while 19pc are yet to make up their minds.

Only four per cent of Kenyans indicated that they will not vote during the August 4 referendum on a new constitution, according to the latest Synovate survey released Friday.

The poll carried out between May 22-28 showed that the issues of

    abortion (55pc),

    kadhi courts (37pc) and

    land (32pc)

were the major reasons that the No respondents cited for opposing the new law.

So 37 percent of No Camp opposed to kadhi (sharia) courts.

I wonder what percentage of that number are women.

BTW that number seems very low to me. I’ll bet close to 100 percent of the No Camp oppose kadhi courts.

The question remains will draft constitution be amended by Parliament BEFORE vote?

Yet some are not so sure that such a line can be drawn.

Last month, 3 U.S. congressmen with legal oversight jurisdiction over federal international funds launched a probe into whether the Obama administration is violating federal law by promoting the controversial constitution.

“The Obama Administration’s advocacy in support of Kenya’s proposed constitution may constitute a serious violation of the Siljander Amendment and, as such, may be subject to civil and criminal penalties under the Antideficiency Act,” wrote Reps. Chris Smith (R-NJ), Darrell Issa (R-CA) and Ileana Ros-Lehtinen (R-FL) in a May 6 letter to Inspectors General of the U.S. Department of State and the U.S. Agency for International Development.

The Siljander Amendment of the State, Foreign Operations Appropriations Act, reads:

“None of the funds made available under this Act may be used to lobby for or against abortion.”

The lawmakers pointed out that the abortion issue is prominent in the public debate over the proposed document, and that the chairman of Kenya’s Committee of Experts on Constitutional Review identified abortion as “one of the four most contentious issues in the proposed constitution.”

Rep. Smith said that as much as $10 million in taxpayer funds may have been spent in support of the pro-abortion constitution as of May.

Allegations of US interference in Kenyan constitution referendum

    By Ecumenical News International

    20 May 2010

“We do not understand if all Americans agree with Obama that he can use American money to fund a ‘yes’ campaign in Kenya,” said the Rev Peter Karanja, the General Secretary of the National Council of Churches of Kenya, on 30 April in Nairobi.

Karanja said that many American Christians were standing with their fellow believers in the East African country.

Anglican, Evangelical, Protestant and Catholic churches have said they will oppose the draft law, which they argue entrenches ‘Kadhi’ courts, as the Islamic courts are called.

They also say it will encourage abortion and reduce freedom of worship.

“In America there are lobbies fighting for increased worship space.

Those will not be pleased to see a law passed that contradicts their values.

It is imprudent for the administration to use their money to fund what they do not agree with,” said Karanja.

    The US lawmakers wrote:

“The Obama Administration’s advocacy in support of Kenya’s proposed constitution may constitute a serious violation of the Siljander Amendment and, as such, may be subject to civil and criminal penalties under the Antideficiency Act.”

Kenyan church leaders welcome Muslim courts’ constitution ruling

    By Ecumenical News International

    1 Jun 2010

The judges did not rule on the inclusion of the courts in the new draft constitution that will go to Kenyan citizens in a referendum scheduled for 4 August.

Many Kenyan church leaders have spoken out against the new draft constitution because of the clauses on the Muslim courts, as well as provisions that enshrine the possibility of terminating pregnancies where the mother’s health or life is endangered.

Cardinal John Njue later said the verdict agreed with the view of Roman Catholic bishops.

“We have indicated in the past that we are not against our Muslim brothers, but this is question of equity and justice,” Njue told ENInews in a 25 May interview.

Draft constitution must be amended by Parliament BEFORE vote. There is an effort underway by the No Camp to do just that. But their efforts may not succeed.

Defiant Machage tells Kibaki, Raila to resign if ‘Yes’ loses in referendum

Speaking in the company of Higher Education Minister William Ruto and five other MPs in three separate rallies in the larger Nandi, Machage said it is wrong for the two principals to force people to adopt a divisive document.

“Kibaki and Raila are thought to be wise old men but we wonder why they are forcing this faulty document on us that has the potential to cause chaos when they well know Kenyans fought because of them following the 2007 disputed presidential vote tally,” he said.

He also criticised the US Ambassador Michael Ranneberger for allegedly interfering with his constitutional right of speech and association.

“I’m reporting Ranneberger to the United Nations for interfering with my constitutional right by demanding I be arrested for making my contribution in the constitutional making,” he said.
