The Day After Roswell by Philip J. Corso

Philip J. Corso (May 22, 1915 – July 16, 1998) was an American Army officer.

He served in the United States Army from February 23, 1942, to March 1, 1963,[1] and earned the rank of Lieutenant Colonel.

Corso published The Day After Roswell, about how he was involved in the research of alleged extraterrestrial technology recovered from the 1947 Roswell UFO Incident. On July 23, 1997, he was a guest on the popular late night radio show, Coast to Coast AM with Art Bell where he spoke live about his Roswell story. This interview was rebroadcast by Coast to Coast AM on July 3, 2010.

It is worthwhile to summarize some of the things Corso confirms:

– The U.S. government has been in contact with the aliens, and has negotiated an agreement with them which he describes as a kind of temporary surrender.

– Alien artifacts have been reverse-engineered to some degree, and some of the results fed to companies which have developed products based on it.

– The original ARPANET, which evolved into the Internet, was largely driven by the need to coordinate a response to the “alien problem”, and to develop a communications system that would be difficult for the aliens to interdict.

– The original “working group” was composed of the same persons listed in the “Majestic 12” documentation, although Corso did not confirm that “Majestic 12” was the name of the group, or what the present name might be. He simply refers to it as the “working group”, and apparently everyone knows what that is, if not who composes it.

– The “working group” put in charge of dealing with the “alien problem” continues, and functions as a kind of secret government, perhaps more powerful than the President. Corso intimates that not all Presidents have been told about the aliens.

– The nations of the Earth are cooperating with the U.S. in dealing with the “alien problem”, and this cooperation dominates international relations on several levels.

– The “Cold War” was ended by Reagan and Gorbachev in response to what was perceived as an alien threat. The “New World Order” should be taken as this new system of cooperation, from the viewpoint of the people working on the “alien problem”, although Corso does not use that term, and seems opposed to the unconstitutional form it is taking.

– The real Cold War, against the aliens, continues, with the Space Defense Initiative being one of its principle activities. This is the main reason for continued high defense expenditures, the excuse for defense against “terrorism”, and other programs of increased militarization of society.

– Elements within and without the official governments of the Earth have an agenda to establish a de facto world government, mainly to defend against the aliens, but one which would establish an oligarchy centered on those charged with the defense. The CIA seems to be one of the main concentrations for the implementation of this agenda.

– The propulsion, power source, and control systems of the alien craft have not yet been successfully reverse-engineered. (But this may be disinformation.)

– The aliens are responsible for most of the animal mutilations.

– The aliens are abducting people and conducting experiments on them, with the apparent purpose of developing a new, hybrid species.

 The EBE

“We were looking at an entirely revolutionary concept of guided flight in which the pilot was the system.”

Where the possibility of some evidence about the workings of the alien brains did exist was in what I referred to in my reports as the ”headbands”. Among the artifacts we retrieved were devices that looked something like headbands but had neither adornment nor decoration of any kind. Embedded by some very advanced kind of vulcanizing process into a form of flexible plastic were what we now know to have been electrical conductors or sensors, similar to the conductors on an electroencephalograph or polygraph.

This band was fitted around the part of the alien cranium just above the ears where the skull began to expand to accommodate the large brain. At the time, the field reports from the crash and the subsequent analysis at Wright Field indicated that the engineers at the Air Materiel Command thought these might be communication devices, like the throat mikes our pilots wore during World War II. But, as I would find out when I evaluated the device and sent it into the market for reverse-engineering, this was a throat mike only in a way that a primitive stylus can be considered the forerunner of the color laser-imaging printer.

Suffice it to say that in the few hours the material was at Walker Field in Roswell, more than one officer at the 509th gingerly slipped this thing over his head and tried to figure out what it did. At first it did nothing. There were no buttons, no switches, no wires, nothing that could even be considered to have been a control panel. So no one knew how to turn it on or off. Moreover, the band was not really adjustable, though it had enough elasticity to have been one size fits all for the creatures whose skulls were large enough to accommodate them. However, the reports I read stated, the few officers whose heads were just large enough to have made contact with the full array of conductors got the shocks of their lives.

In their descriptions of the headband, these officers reported everything from a low tingling sensation inside their heads to a searing headache and a brief array of either dancing or exploding colors on the insides of their eyelids as they rotated the device around their head and brought the sensors into contact with different parts of their skull.

These eyewitness reports suggested to me that the sensors stimulated different parts of the brain while at the same time exchanged information with the brain. Again, using the analogy of an EEC, these devices were a very sophisticated mechanism for translating the electrical impulses inside the creatures’ brains into specific commands. Perhaps these headband devices comprised the pilot interface of the ship’s navigational and propulsion system combined with a long range communications device.

At first I didn’t know, but it was only when we began development of the long brain wave research project toward the end of my tenure at the Pentagon that I realized just what we had and how it might be developed. It took a long time to harvest this technology, but fifty years after Roswell, versions of these devices eventually became a component of the navigational control system for some of the army’s most sophisticated helicopters and will soon be on the American consumer electronics market as user input devices for personal computer games.

The first Army Air Force analysts and engineers both at the 509th and at Wright Field were also bedeviled by the lack of any traditional controls and propulsion system in the crashed vehicle. Looking at their reports and the artifacts from the perspective of 1961, however, I imagined that the keys to understanding what made the craft go and directed its flight lay not only within the craft itself but in the relationship between the pilots and the craft. If we hypothesized a brainwave guidance system that was as specific to the pilots’ electronic signature as it was to the spacecraft’s, then we were looking at an entirely revolutionary concept of guided flight in which the pilot was the system.

Imagine transportation devices in which the key to the ignition is a digitized code derived from your electroencephalographic signature and is read automatically upon your donning some sort of sensorized headband. That’s the way I believed the spacecraft was navigated, by direct interaction between the electronic waves generated within the minds of the pilots and the craft’s directional controls. The electronic brain signals were interpreted and transmitted by the headband devices, which served as interfaces.

Statement made to Clark McClelland, Mission Operations Monitor for NASA on 16 July 1969 at Kennedy Space Center during the launch of Apollo 11 by Senator Barry Goldwater, a long-standing member of the select committee on Intelligence, is conclusive:

“The UFO situation is at the highest level of national security. Much higher than the H Bomb.”

The implication is that the aforesaid agencies, known or unknown to the public, have used this information – and possible access – to further their goals of global domination, justified by the imperative of planning for “planetary defence” against any and all invaders from space , camouflaged as national security preparations against a foreign enemy, formerly defined as the USSR and now as China, Russia and accessorily the international Islamic threat, embodied either by an amorphous terrorist network such as Al Qaida or by a regional power like Iran.

This broadly was the initial conclusion reached by M W Cooper in his brochure “The Secret Government – the origins, identity and purpose of MJ-12.”

Philip Corso, son of Colonel Corso

Phil Corso, Jr., World Peace & Dawn of a New Age, Pt 3

[Colonel Corso] loved my 3 boys, you know, and I’m sure he would want the best for them. And that’s why the book was written, by the way. It even says that in The Day After Roswell.

He felt that young people could handle it, by knowing the truth.

I’ve got to tell you, real quick, about something.

He would go into the Pentagon. And he says there was a room that they would go into, like a jail cell, and, he says, you weren’t allowed to take anything into the room. No papers, no pencils, nothing to record anything whatsoever.

And you go in there, and you come out, and whatever question you asked would be answered, and you’d come out with that question.

And I asked him, “Was that ET in there?”

He never answered me. He would never say a word. I guess it was classified, so, you know, a military man would not say anything.

I thought it was ET in there.

So, I just brought that up real quick to let you know that maybe there was one in the Pentagon. I don’t know.

[An Observation: Not all ETs are manufactured.  Not all ETs are bad.  Not all abductions are MILABs.  All experiencers only have a piece of the puzzle.  And not all memories are true, though some are.  Having said all that …]

Colonel Corso, MILABs and “False Screen Memories”

What follows is an interview with Edgar Fouche conducted by Paola Harris in 1999 and printed in her book, Connecting the Dots, pp. 84-90. It illustrates more of his views on black projects and how extraterrestrial technologies have been secretly reverse engineered.

PH: In your opinion, do these androids or manufactured beings have a program? They must have, mustn’t they, seeing as too many people continue to talk about their abduction experiences?

EF: I’m not so sure, and this is part of the current diatribe. According to Gerald and another two people I have talked to, there have been some abductions, but only a limited number. Most abductions are carried out by the government.

PH: Why on Earth would the government be involved in abductions and insert screen memories in people’s minds, making them believe they were abducted by aliens?

EF: There are several reasons. TMK is easy to use: it’s a mind control technique first used in the ‘30s and ‘40s, when the CIA used to give people large doses of marijuana extract (THC), heroin and mescaline, altering human behavior via brainwaves or ultrasound to create screen memories or to put false memories into people’s minds.

PH: In other words, you are saying that the manipulation of human beings is being carried out by the government, and not by aliens.

EF: Three people I trust swear that they are absolutely sure of this. Think about it—one of the reasons which comes to mind is that if there were some alien germ which could infect us, we could alter human genetics through injections.

But what would happen if aliens came to Earth and released microbes which could modify our atmosphere? We would have be able to adapt.

In other words, maybe we know that aliens are coming and they will settle on Earth. How can we protect our race?

PH: Is this how you explain the reasoning behind abductions?

EF: Exactly. It’s for the protection of the species. Or maybe they’ve learned how to improve our species from genetic engineering.

PH: But why abduct people, Ed? Why do we have to do it in such a violent way? Can’t we find another solution? For example, say it’s being done to fight a disease?

EF: But how would you harvest eggs?

PH: But these people truly believe that they have passed through walls and been in spaceships. Why would the government create all these false memories?

EF: Disinformation. If you plant half a dozen different versions of what is going on in people’s minds, no-one will ever believe anyone else, and that’s exactly what’s happening.

PH: It’s a worldwide phenomenon. In Italy too, really strange things are happening to people who live both in cities and in remote areas. How can it possibly be a government conspiracy?

EF: It could be a cross-section.

PH: They would have to have made agreements with Italy and all the other nations.

EF: I have never believed in the theory of aliens or the New World Order controlling minds for financial reasons.

The New World Order exists for a different reason, it’s part of a Majestic 12 plan to unite the world under a single government.

Supposing there’s an alien threat, how could we unite the world under one power? How could we all agree? We would never agree, not even through the United Nations.

Not unless a pre-existing authority imposed the terms of the future new order.

PH: So you believe that convincing people that we are threatened by aliens will unite everyone in a single world order?

EF: Yes. It would also happen in the event of a crisis. Y2K is a prime example. The world now relies on computers. There is no easier way than to crash all the computers in the world to take control and overcome those who possess all the computer-based and military power.

PH: Why would they take control?

EF: To rule the world under a single government.

Col. Philip J. Corso served in many important roles during his Army career, among those he was on the staff of President Eisenhower’s National Security Council and would brief the president personally. He also worked at the Pentagon for sometime serving as the chief of the foreign technology division. Here he says he handled debris from the crash of an alien spaceship in Roswell, and was privy to many of our government’s secrets regarding extraterrestrials. In this video he claims that he briefed then Attorney General Bobby Kennedy directly on this issue, who he believes briefed the President, JFK.

Philip Corso: Well, some other things have been pretty important. Like when I moved those 10,000 Jews, I thought nothing of it, but people said what a big thing it was.

ML: There have been rumors and speculations that Roswell, and what came from Roswell — the way we exploited Roswell technology — might not have been the very first time such a thing happened.

There have even been indications or speculations that the Nazis had done such a thing, that some of their extraordinary technological developments may have come from a similar source.

What do you think about that?

PC: Yes. True. I had German scientists on my team. I discussed this with them. I discussed this with Oberth, von Braun.

I was part of Project Paperclip with General Trudeau. There’s an example in the book.

In the middle of the book there’s a photograph of Edward O’Connor, one of Truman’s poker-playing buddies at the White House — he was a Soviet expert — and General Trudeau, myself and Victor Fediay of the Library of Congress, who spoke fluent Russian.

Fediay was going to Russia. I gave him a series of questions. I said, “Ask a KGB general these questions [pertaining to UFOs].”

So Victor comes back and says, “Phil, I asked him the questions. You know what he said? He said, ’I know what you want. But do you want me killed?’”

Now, that’s Russia. Germany? Yes. Canadians and British also, and something in Italy.

There were crashes elsewhere, and they gathered material too.

The Germans were working on it. They didn’t solve the propulsion system. They did a lot of experiments on flying saucers. They had one that went up 12,000 feet.

But where all, we and they, missed out was on the guidance system.

In R&D we began to realize that “this being” was part of the guidance system, part of the apparatus himself — or itself, because it had no sexual organs.

This is where most people missed out.

“this being” was the guidance system.

    yes, exactly.

    A Very Interesting Take, Indeed.

    Adams and Birthers

    John R. Houk

    June 21, 2010

The premier Internet source of Birther Conspiracy Theory is WorldNetDaily.

I used to be a Birther myself however I became convinced that there was so much conflicting, faked documents, mysterious cover-ups and unanswered yet legitimate information to place President Barack Hussein Obama into a criminal spotlight that I pretty much abandoned the Birther path to derail BHO’s Presidential Office.

I simply feel there is too much political clout shielding BHO mysteries.

Indeed, I believe the dots to Obama’s Birther issues may not be substantiated until long after his Administration has dipped into the annals of history.

On the other hand WND has found a guy who was responsible for monitoring eligibility to vote in the State of Hawaii.

Tim Adams has since departed from that job and is working on a Masters degree in Kentucky.

Adams asserts there is zero proof that BHO was born in Hawaii.

Yet Adams appears not to have a Birther vendetta because he also paints a picture of not knowing where BHO was born but that he was born out of the State of Hawaii to an American citizen; i.e. BHO’s mother Stanley Ann Dunham.

The WND article has Adams stipulating that he has no doubt that BHO is an American citizen and if there is any question to his eligibility for President it was probably in a deficiency in the Democratic Party vetting the particulars that might come up such as the location of birth.

Of the course the race card is brought up in the article.

*** When the Left is confronted with potential damaging truth the tactic of the day is to deflect from the actual issue by creating a polarizing unrelated issue. *** (Amen!)

Regardless of any Slanted Left obfuscation, the Adams’ claim that BHO was not born in Hawaii screams of cover-up at least on the Hawaiian State level and undoubtedly has connections to national strings.

Again I doubt the strings will attach to President Barack Hussein Obama because the presidentially powerful have become adept at providing plausible deniability from both major political parties.

    Two things

    (1) Dems are comparing Clinton’s last year to Obama’s first year. Bush’s last fiscal year was FY 2008. Even if you lay part of the blame for FY 2009 at Bush’s feet, Bush’s eight years look like rosy years in comparison to Obama’s deficits real and projected.

    (2) Dems make it sound as if Clinton did not add to total deficit. Of course he did. But Clinton had a good run and deserves credit.

Health Care Reform that Can Kill the U.S. Economy

by Prof. Regina Herzlinger, Harvard Business School

    June 2010

Exchanges and public plans are administered by legislators and bureaucrats – competent people, but lacking entrepreneurial skills.

Many experts dismiss the Democrats’ claims of government’s controlling costs through information technology and other technocratic tools.

Because the sick constitute roughly 20% of users, but account for about 80% of the costs, they are the politically-vulnerable, cost-control target.

Although government-rationing can squeeze out some inefficiency, it is hardly benign or equitable:

The government-controlled UK system, for example, has the lowest uptake of cancer drugs among the biggest five European economies and correspondingly low cancer survival rates.

Many of the UK’s affluent buy private insurance to avoid government stringency, like those in other European government-controlled systems.

Of course, we must have reasonably-priced insurance, reform how private health insurers treat the sick and near poor, and control health care costs.

But the health care reform will inevitably increase costs, further weakening our economy.

Tragically, although it will expand insurance coverage, it will ultimately ration medical care for its important beneficiaries –the sick.

Regina E. Herzlinger keynoted Washington Policy Center’s 8th Annual Health Care Conference on June 4th in Seattle (watch her address online here). She is the Nancy McPherson Professor at the Harvard Business School and author of Who Killed Health Care? (McGraw-Hill, 2007).

JB: Well, of course, what everyone makes of the firing of General McChrystal, who was an outstanding office, if not anywhere as accomplished in managing the difficult political relationship that the generals now have to have with Washington,

the good news in all of this is that President Obama was able overnight, literally, or within a matter of an hour or so, to find in General Petraeus a replacement with whom nobody could argue.

    One more mission for general

Vice-President Joe Biden’s 10-minute trip to the Green Zone on July 4 appears to confirm McChrystal’s low opinion of him.

Taking advantage of the many political and other uncertainties, the greatly reduced al-Qaeda forces are still preparing to inflict as much misery as they can upon Iraqis, so as to thwart any attempt at a democratic or federal solution.

(By the way, this in itself is proof that their vile tactics, now directed at an army that is in the process of disengagement, are not a response to “occupation.”)

Might it be salutary to ask McChrystal for one more mission?

Send him back to Baghdad to help oversee the drawdown and also to continue the trouncing of those who are trying to disrupt the transition.

Help pass on to the Iraqi army a cadre of battle-tested fighters, Arab and Kurdish, who have learned to take the measure of the enemy.

Make it plain that further help from over the horizon is available if they ask for it.

It is the amended version. It’s the only part the judge didn’t dismiss; he didn’t dismiss Stanley Ann or Lolo. The DOS and DHS have said that they have passport documents and those were supposed to be released about 4 to 6 weeks after our status report on March 8, 2010.

    The Post & Email asked:

Why hasn’t the information you requested been released to you? Have they ever given a reason?

    And Allen’s response was:

They haven’t given any reason. I believe they’re stalling because Stanley Ann wasn’t in Hawaii when Obama was born. I also believe that she was out of the country long enough to lose her own citizenship!

The Post & Email then asked:

Can the defendants stall any more, or is the court telling them they have to comply with your request?

    The answer was:

The motion is asking the judge to order them to produce the requested and promised documents. Now it’s a waiting game. The DOJ will object and the judge will make a ruling and that’s when we see how much law is left in the Federal courts.

U.S. House plan overturning Obamacare halfway there

If 109 more signatures gathered, even Pelosi couldn’t halt new vote

    Boehner’s report

“While rushing their massive government takeover of health care through Congress, President Obama and congressional Democrats promised it would create jobs, lower costs, reduce the deficit, allow Americans to keep their health care, protect seniors’ coverage, prohibit taxpayer-funded abortion, and, of course, gain the support of the American people,” Boehner’s report said.

“It isn’t just that none of these promises or predictions have turned out to be true.

In every instance, Obamacare has made matters worse,” the report said.

    Among the study’s conclusions:

“Some of the nation’s largest employers have announced they will be forced to make cutbacks as a result of Obamacare’s job-killing mandates.”

“Two independent government entities … have confirmed that the new law fails to lower health care costs and reduce the deficit.”

“Obamacare includes at least a dozen violations of President Obama’s pledge to not raise taxes on middle-class families.”

“The government has confirmed that the new law’s massive Medicare cuts will fall squarely on the backs of seniors, millions of whom will be forced off their current Medicare coverage.”

The report also said Obama officials have confirmed their new law “will force some 87 million Americans to drop their current coverage despite President Obama’s promise that Americans would be able to keep the coverage that they have.”

The report further states Obama has done nothing to implement his executive order that was supposed to prevent taxpayer funding of abortions.

The result is that people like it no better now – or even less – than before they knew many of the details.

Dozens of states also have revolted against the plan.

“This report chronicles Obamacare’s broken promises in the three months since it became law,” Boehner said.

“The American people remain squarely opposed to this government takeover of health care that has already failed to live up to specific promises made by President Obama and Washington Democrats.

“Republicans are listening to the American people, and fighting to repeal Obamacare so we can replace it with common-sense reforms focused on lowering costs and protecting jobs,” he said.

    According to the plan,

some $400 million will hit nonprofit hospitals,

$17 billion will come from those “who do not purchase government-approved health insurance,”

another $52 billion will hit workers “who fail to fully comply with government health insurance mandates,” and

a tax hike for Medicare will pull another $210 billion from the grocery budgets of Americans.

More than 130 top economists also submitted a document, according to the report, that

“the health care bill contains a number of provisions that will eliminate jobs, reduce hours and wages and limit future job creation.”

Obama’s law is facing a number of lawsuits contesting its constitutionality, claiming the federal government has no right to require consumers to participate in a business transaction – the purchase of health insurance – if they choose not to.

(And there’s a new lawsuit in Missouri where a Medicare Advantage patient is suing for “equal protection.” I don’t know the legalese, but she’s claiming it’s unfair that some seniors in Florida get to keep their Medicare Advantage and she doesn’t. Way to go, Bill Nelson!)

Take a look at who this president is surrounding himself with — his circle of influence.

We know about ACORN’s use of intimidation tactics.

The president has made it clear that he’s walking in lockstep with ACORN:

THEN-PRESIDENTIAL CANDIDATE BARACK OBAMA: And I definitely welcome ACORN’s input. You don’t have to ask me about that. I’m going to call you even if you didn’t ask me.

And remember what Bertha Lewis recently told her people:

BERTHA LEWIS, ACORN: It is going to dwarf the internment during World War II.

They are coming and they are coming after you.

The president has also made it clear how closely he works with SEIU:

OBAMA: Just imagine what we could do together. Imagine having a president whose life work was your work.

And SEIU has not hesitated to use intimidation and violence:

ANDY STERN, SEIU: We took names. We watched how they voted. We know where they live.

The president hired Van Jones — and they knew who he was:

VALERIE JARRETT, WHITE HOUSE SENIOR ADVISER: Van Jones, we were so delighted to be able to recruit him into the White House. We have been watching him really — he’s not that old — for as long as he’s been active out in Oakland —

Jones was head of Ella Baker Center and started the communist STORM organization whose manual stated:

“Revolutionaries need to be militant in street actions. As leaders in the fight for liberation, we should be role models of fearlessness before the state and the oppressor.”

They also said: “Marches were be militant and confrontational, regularly defying police commands and occasionally plunging through police lines and barricades.”

So the president had no problem associating with militants who intimidate.

But militant intimidation can sometimes go one step further and become terrorism.

Bill Ayers founded the terrorist organization The Weather Underground.

Jeff Jones, also of The Weather Underground, helped draft the stimulus package through the Apollo Alliance.

Bernadine Dohrn, Bill Ayers’ wife, was part of the Gaza flotilla and they partnered with Jodie Evans from Code Pink.

“For President Obama to invoke race in this, which he did in that speech — calling this divisive, saying this may lead to people being pulled over because of how they talk or what color their skin is, and then, of course, invoking religion — is totally misguided,” Sekulow argues.

“Unfortunately there are many Christian conservative groups who have bought into President Obama’s propaganda,” he laments.

The international operations director adds challenging the constitutionality of Arizona’s border enforcement law is not going to do anything to solve the root problem:

the continued failure of the federal government to protect the United States from the illegal alien invasion.

“You have drug wars going on 12 miles from the Arizona border where 21 people are killed, and this is creeping right into the state,” he notes.

“So what our leaders have done here in our country is made it a political issue.”

So Sekulow reports the ACLJ is going to file an amicus brief supporting the border state’s law.

It’s hard and getting harder, but I really do try and give Obama the benefit of the doubt.

But not where race relations are concerned.

The truth is that Barry is not a Muslim apostate who converted to Chistianity – he is a dissimulating Muslim who joined a “black liberation church” that is connected to the Nation of Islam ideologically, if not literally.

    Both hate white America.

(I believe Polarik is referring to Obama’s church and to the Nation of Islam, not to Obama himself.)

Throughout the campaign of 2008, Obama and his handlers made sure to jump down the throats of anyone even mentioning Muslim and Obama in the same sentence.

Politifact did that to the exclusion of all else – including the total avoidance of discussing where Obama was born.

They started the “Muhammed is Obama’s middle name” rumor and used it to lie about him.

Then again, Politifact, Factcheck, Hawaii DOH, and the Obama Campaign/Administration are serial liars and frauds.

That fact does not bode well for those who rely on them to support their contentions that Obama was born in Hawaii and was never a “practicing” Muslim.

okay, but we have to be very specific about this, because most will look at old photographs of Obama obviously attending and conclude that we “birthers” are obviously kooks.

and I do want everyone to give Polarik’s findings a fair hearing.

I know those aren’t your links, Polarik.

I think you are both missing the plain wording of #21.

You say I should remove it because he never went there, Polarik, but he says he did. That is the point of asking for his records.

rosettasister, I have no idea how showing pictures of 0beezo in his late teens has any bearing on whether he attended Punahou grade school.

If you have any info on that please post it. I do believe you’ll be the first.

No, I was not implying that. The records are missing.

Eye witnesses who were in the Class of ‘79 told me that Obama was not there.

I was thinking #21 should be rewritten as “Punahou records missing and Obama, too.”

For about six years, Nordyke’s daughters attended school with Obama at the Punahou School, a school of about 4,000 geared for the college-bound, which Nordyke called “the best school in Hawaii.”

    “about six years”

of course I know the story about Obama being adopted by his Indonesian stepfather and I’ve seen the record which lists Obama’s religion as “Muslim”

I remember at the time thinking who cares if Obama spent a portion of his childhood practicing Islam, what bothered me is that he would lie about it.

As far as the Punahou records, and the gaps, what is being implied here?

What could possibly be revealed that is “revealing”

Nevertheless, the appeals court on its own gave me notice that it wants me to show cause why I should not have to pay for the defendants damages and costs incurred in defending the action,” Apuzzo confirmed.

As to what other action my clients may take regarding the underlying claims against Obama and Congress, we will be discussing that aspect and acting accordingly,” Apuzzo said.

He told WND he definitely will explore the issue of “standing” now because of the possible penalties, which might be considered an “injury.”

He confirmed such circumstances could change the balance of the arguments.

“I’m going to address that in the papers [to be filed],” he told WND.

    America’s first debt crisis

    Honoring our founders’ wisdom

    By Paul Ryan

    July 4, 2010

In 1791, the national debt equaled about 40 percent of the gross domestic product.

With its interdict on paper money and its stable dollar guarantee, the Constitution combined with the financial instruments Hamilton created to fund the debt provided an incredibly powerful stimulus to economic growth.

National and foreign trade reopened. Federal revenues grew rapidly from sales of western lands and the tariff.

Old taxes were cut, and the Jefferson and Madison administrations imposed new limits on federal spending.

By 1836, 45 years after Hamilton initiated his audacious debt plan, the U.S. government paid off the entire debt.

From this history, we see that a debt crisis dissolves social bonds, weakening economic, personal, social, moral and political relationships.

As government monetizes the debt to meet rising interest rates, inflation is unleashed and the currency devalued.

Money whose future value is unpredictable cannot serve its most important purpose, to provide a common rule to equate goods, services and work effort.

When social transactions are undermined, people lose trust in one another.

A society without trust cannot long remain free.

A paralyzed democratic government, unwilling to act against a predictable threat, such as a growing debt crisis, invites popular contempt and resistance.

Frightened citizens whose representatives will not protect their private property or the public treasury may not only give up on their representatives but dismiss constitutional self-government as weak, inadequate, servile and ignorant.

Recent polls show a near majority believe their government has now become the chief danger to their rights.

America’s looming debt crisis challenges this experiment in democracy.

Political leaders should meet this crisis with the same seriousness and determination they would bring against an invading army.

There are no Madisons, Hamiltons and Washingtons to save us from our folly, nor do we need a new Constitution.

Yet the courage, imagination, wisdom and public spirit that provided the founders with the plan to end America’s first debt crisis can also supply our needs.

We only need leaders who will rise above narrow partisanship to confront our debt challenge and save our exceptional country.

Republican U.S. Rep. Paul Ryan represents the 1st Congressional District of Wisconsin.

  80. blessedistruth Says:

    Nation’s long-term fiscal health uncertain

    Sen. Judd Gregg, R-NH

“The long-term outlook remains grim – under the most realistic assumptions, CBO predicts that debt will reach 87% by 2020 and 185% by 2035,” Gregg said.

“The driver of this debt is spending.

Our existing debt will be worsened by the President’s new health care entitlement programs – despite the tax increases in the health care bill.”

  81. blessedistruth Says:

    “87% by 2020 and 185% by 2035”

I believe Gregg was citing “Debt held by the Public” while I cited “Total Public Debt Outstanding” above.

    As of July 5, 2010,

the “Total Public Debt Outstanding” was approximately 90% of annual GDP, ($13.182 Trillion)

with the constituent parts of the debt being

“Debt held by the Public” being approximately 60% of GDP ($8.67 Trillion) and

“Intergovernmental Debt” standing at 40% of GDP ($4.55 Trillion)

Still, if you look at Obama’s real and projected deficits versus Bush and other previous presidents, there really is no comparison.

And Obama’s still out there on the stump playing the role he knows best, F. P. I. C.

I saw through this when he was running against Hillary, he used to say the last “sixteen” years, meaning both Bush AND Clinton.

After his nomination he quickly changed to the last “eight” years meaning Bush.

Now he’s saying the last “decade” meaning since Bush got elected in 2000.

Apparently Obama won’t start accepting responsibility for ANYTHING until 2011.

Still, I do worry about the malleable middle drinking his juice.

Nervously laughing when Obama pokes fun at his rivals.

You know that kind of nervous laughter when your conscience is telling you something is wrong here and you really shouldn’t be laughing at all.
