Michael E. Salla — The next window for disclosure

http://www.coasttocoastam.com/show/2010/07/26

Mr. Salla talked about the Washington Post’s recent series of articles on US government secrecy, and suggested that classified UFO technology is being handed over to corporations, taking it out of citizen oversight. He commented that Stephen Hawking’s recent pronouncement that we should be wary of making contact with aliens was a positive development in that it turned the subject into a legitimate scientific debate. Salla believes the next window for govt. disclosure will be after the 2010 elections, and it may take the initial form of something far from Earth, such as related to exoplanets or a SETI signal, rather than a direct admission of ET visitations to our planet.

Washington Post report supports accounts of military personnel keeping UFO secrets from commanders.

http://www.examiner.com/x-2383-Honolulu-Exopolitics-Examiner~y2010m7d19-Washington-Post-report-supports-accounts-of-military-personal-keeping-UFO-secrets-from-commanders

Excerpts

According to a 22 year veteran of the U.S. Army, he was regularly called away for above Top Secret (i.e., compartmented programs) assignments involving the recovery of UFO crashes or artifacts. Clifford Stone claimed that he was instructed not to reveal anything to his regular army commander about his special training and/or assignments involving UFO technology and extraterrestrial life.

[….]

Another serviceman who was secretly trained and instructed not to disclose anything to his regular military commander is Dan Sherman. Sherman served for 12 years in the US Air Force. Alongside his regular military training as an electronic intelligence (ELINT) analyst, Sherman was secretly trained to be an “intuitive communicator” – someone trained to conduct telepathic communications. The Above Top Secret or compartmented program was called Project Preserve Destiny (PPD).  When Sherman was subsequently assigned to the NSA, he worked on a specially designed computer where he could perform both his normal ELINT work, and also work as an intuitive communicator when required with a group of extraterrestrials. The individuals responsible for Sherman’s training and subsequent covert work within the NSA were officers with the rank of Captain who would not operate through the normal chain of military command either within the USAF or within the NSA. The responsible organization appeared to be a parallel system that operated through but was not part of the NSA. He worked on PPD for almost three years.

The problem of personnel being ordered to keep secrets from commanders extends to the highest ranks of the military.

Juan García Esquivel (January 20, 1918 – January 3, 2002) often simply known as Esquivel!, was a Mexican band leader, pianist, and composer for television and films. He is recognized today as one of the foremost exponents of a sophisticated style of largely instrumental music that combines elements of lounge music and jazz with Latin flavors. Esquivel is sometimes called “The King of Space Age Pop” and “The Busby Berkley of Cocktail Music.” Esquivel is considered one of the foremost exponents of a style of late 1950s-early 1960s quirky instrumental pop that became known (in retrospect) as “Space Age Bachelor Pad Music”.

    Obama’s Real Problem

Why the president’s poll numbers have declined.

    http://article.nationalreview.com/print/?q=ZGM4NWMzNmQ0OWMyZDY4Y2JmMTU2MGZiNDEyZDNlYjY=

    Excerpts

Obama’s poll numbers are falling for three reasons clear to any amateur student of politics.

First, the voters in 2008 did not vote for liberal change, but for change from the costly and lengthy Bush wars, deficits, spending policies, and immigration proposals.

Second, after ramming through his health-care bill without either bipartisan support or public approval, Obama is polling badly on just about every hot-button issue.

The electorate simply does not want cap-and-trade, amnesty, more deficits, and higher taxes.

Rather, it prefers to produce more oil and gas, and more hydroelectric and nuclear power; it wants to follow the Arizona immigration model; it wants to cut spending; and it wants to balance the budget.

Third, the problem is not that Obama is insufficiently attuned to race, but that he is perceived (fairly or unfairly) to be obsessed with it.

Obama can choose to be a successful triangulating Clinton, or he can insist on being a failed ideological Carter.

As the November election draws closer, those bad and worse choices will become even clearer to the president and his liberal supporters.

    Exopolitical Comment # 34

Covert Use of Exotic Weapons, Intelligence Leaks and Eschatology: An Exopolitical Perspective

    http://www.exopolitics.org/Exo-Comment-34.htm

I have recently read an important article concerning two main factions within the military-intelligence community and their respective approaches to exotic technologies and extraterrestrial (ET) related issues

(see: Vince Johnson, “The Aviary, the Aquarium, and Eschatology”, Close Encounter Chronicles Vol 1:1).

The article suggests that these two groups of ‘insiders’ are divided over their respective approaches to ETs, use of psychotronic weapons, eschatological issues, and ethical orientation.

The article suggests that there exists a group within the military-intelligence community that is devoted to the development and use of psychotronic weapons systems.

Also described as ‘non-lethal’ weapons, these are used in ways that resemble the technological equivalent of ‘black magic’.

According to this debate between insiders in the covert world, this exotic use of psychotronic weapons is very destabilizing to the planetary system and contributes to an eschatological event known as the End Times and/or the Second Coming.

Articles concerning Planet X, 2012, etc., are eschatological in that there is looming an ‘eschaton’ (destructive/transformative global event) that will profoundly affect all life on the planet, either through global destruction or global transformation.

On the other hand, there are those within the intelligence community, especially the CIA who are leaking information about this possible eschatological event and use of exotic technologies in order to apparently prepare humanity for the destruction/transformation that lies ahead.

The link between the ‘eschaton’ and use of exotic technologies such as psychotronic weapons is allegedly something that is leaked by ‘friendly’ insiders within the intelligence community.

Furthermore, the targeting of extraterrestrial ships by aggressive military elements is also something that is leaked by ‘friendly’ insiders within the intelligence community in order to bring about a change in this covert policy.

Consequently, those commenting on the relationship between these two groups of insiders describe the conflict in terms of a struggle between dark and light in the covert world.

    ***

    “the eschatological event”

I haven’t the faintest idea, if memory serves, Dan Burisch testimony supports this.

And Dr Greer has warned of this.

Well, you can’t trust all humans.

And apparently you can’t trust all ETs either.

This is why I warn my Christian friends NOT to long for the Second Coming too much.

    In God’s time.

  3. blessedistruth Says:

But if anything will convince humans to fear BigGovernment, this will.

I fear Global Government and Multi National Corporations.

    Decentralize power.

    Smaller is better.

So why do so many who favor disclosure support Obama?

Can we even trust our military any longer when even top brass are being kept in the dark?

We’re fixated on small conspiracies like Obama’s eligibility, when there are much bigger fish to fry.

  4. blessedistruth Says:

Forgive me for lacking faith in my government.

But my government cannot help me.

It would appear the only ones who can help me are benevolent extraterrestrials.

    Some would call them angels.

  5. blessedistruth Says:

BTW, I’m not pushing this book.

And I don’t doubt for one iota that something is happening to these people.

The same mistake they all make.

They think they’re special when this is happening to a big chunk of humanity.

It’s probably a good thing that I did study hermeneutics.

It’s virtually impossible to discern what these people actually experienced with their interpretation of said experiences.

    And the conclusions they’ve reached.

And that goes for Burisch, too.

96 Days to Decide: Republicans Eye Arizona House Seat Once Held by Hayworth

    http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2010/07/29/days-decide-republicans-eye-arizona-house-seat-held-hayworth/

“I think Congressman Mitchell’s response is consistent with his chronic performance of not being able to come out on a position before (House Speaker) Nancy Pelosi tells him how to respond,” said Jim Ward, a top Republican contender in the Arizona House race.

“I think you’re about to find that (Democrats) are going to lose three congressional seats here in Arizona, particularly because of the national reaction to the Arizona immigration law,” said David Schweikert, Ward’s main opposition in the GOP primary.

Five Arizona seats are held by Democrats in the U.S. House.

While Mitchell’s reticence to get political may seem above the fray to some, his opponents say Mitchell’s middle-of-the-road approach won’t sustain him in this fiercely anti-incumbent atmosphere.

“Cearly, Harry Mitchell has done next to nothing to fill out government’s basic responsibility,” said Ward, a former vice president of Lucas Films who launched the original marketing campaign for golf star Tiger Woods.

According to a July 25 Arizona Republic/WestGroup Research poll,

61 percent of registered voters in Arizona support SB 1070,

which prior to being struck down gave state and local law enforcement the authority to request someone’s immigration status when he or she is stopped for another violation.

(After Repub primary we’ll know who will be running against Dem Mitchell.)

“With past rulings supporting Arizona’s employer sanctions law, the courts have made it clear states have the inherent power to enforce the laws of this country. I am confident that the courts will back the provisions in SB 1070 temporarily blocked by Judge Bolton,”

    — State. Sen. Russell Pearce, R-Mesa.

  21. blessedistruth Says:

    http://www.azcentral.com/arizonarepublic/news/articles/2010/07/29/20100729arizona-immigration-law-appeal-filed.html

The state’s appeal will deal only with Bolton’s injunction, which stopped four provisions of the law.

There still are seven lawsuits whose arguments on the law’s constitutionality await litigation.

Those include the one by the federal government that prompted Wednesday’s ruling.

Legal experts said the state’s appeal likely will go before a three-judge panel in what traditionally has been labeled the most liberal appellate court in the country.

However, the 9th Circuit previously upheld Arizona’s employer-sanctions law, which cracks down on businesses that hire illegal immigrants.

That case is now before the U.S. Supreme Court.

A ruling by the three-member appellate panel could be appealed to a larger group of justices in the 9th Circuit, according to Carissa Byrne Hessick, an Arizona State University law professor.

She said that is rare in most appeals courts, but the 9th Circuit has been more willing to do it.

Such a ruling could then be appealed to the U.S. Supreme Court.

Marc Miller, a criminal-law professor at the University of Arizona, and Julie Pace, a Valley immigration attorney, said there are other options that could resolve the battle over the state’s immigration law.

    They include:

    • The Arizona Legislature modifying the law to appease the federal government’s concerns.

    • Brewer and the Obama administration settling the lawsuit and working together on immigration reform.

    • Having some other state outside the 9th Circuit pass an immigration law that is upheld in a different appellate circuit.

That would force the U.S. Supreme Court to make a ruling that is applied throughout the country.

Attorneys involved in the seven suits challenging the Arizona law said they expect a lengthy battle.

Brian Bergin is an attorney representing Cochise County Sheriff Larry Dever, who is a defendant in one of the suits.

Bergin said the timing of when Bolton may hear arguments in the six lawsuits before her remains up in the air.

A seventh case is before U.S. District Judge Neil Wake.

Bergin said some of the various cases could be put on hold while any preliminary injunctions are appealed.

Or all the cases could be consolidated into one big case.

Bolton could even grant motions to dismiss some of the cases.

“In terms of the lifespan of a lawsuit, these are in their infancy,” Bergin said.

  22. blessedistruth Says:

    Stakeholders react

Brewer said Bolton’s order was not entirely a surprise, given some of the questions that the judge asked during last week’s court proceedings.

Sen. Russell Pearce, a Mesa Republican and author of Senate Bill 1070, downplayed the significance of the judge’s order Wednesday, noting that it was just a temporary injunction and that

*** she allowed the portion of the bill that requires agencies to enforce federal immigration law to the fullest extent to remain in place ***

“As of Thursday, the handcuffs come off of law enforcement,” Pearce said.

“This says clearly that we can enforce federal law and we cannot be impeded.”

Pearce believes the case will ultimately make its way to the Supreme Court, and he predicted a win for Arizona.

“We will appeal this immediately and we will win on appeal,” he said.

“This will be to the Supreme Court eventually, and I expect a 5-4 decision in our favor, perhaps even 6-3.”

Rep. John Kavanagh, one of the co-sponsors of the bill, had a less optimistic view of the ruling, calling Bolton’s ruling “very disappointing,” saying that she “went to the meat of the law.”

“The decision is very disappointing,” Kavanagh said.

“Those were major parts of the law that helped us battle illegal immigration.

I assume that we will immediately appeal to the 9th Circuit (Court of Appeals).”

Kavanagh said that the state remained committed to defending the law and seeing it enacted.

“This is only the start of the legal battle.”

Brian Bergin, the attorney representing Cochise County Sheriff Larry Dever as a defendant in one of the lawsuits, said he appreciated the fact that Bolton didn’t prevent SB 1070 in its entirety from becoming law.

“But the court did enter an injunction prohibiting the enforcement of what we consider to be some of the act’s more important provisions,” he said.

Bolton has not yet issued an order in Dever’s case, but Bergin said he expects it to be similar to the one she has issued.

He said he still has to talk to Dever but he expects they would appeal.

Arpaio the target of a million-dollar assassination contract by a Mexican drug cartel

SB1070 protesters, police face off in PHX

    http://ktar.com/index.php?nid=6&sid=1319408

Several hundred people, waving U.S. and Mexican flags, gathered outside the headquarters of Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio, who has been tough on illegal immigration.

The Sheriff’s office said it expected a sit-in at which about 25 people would commit acts of civil obedience.

It said organizers were planning a “Day of Non-compliance — Jailhouse Rock” to disrupt jail operations and bookings.

“Not going to happen,” said Arpaio.

“These irresponsible individuals who plan to create so much congestion around the jail that we cannot accept prisoners will end up being prisoners themselves.

My deputies will arrest them and put them in pink underwear, count on it.”

As a security measure, Arpaio said he would put the 1,400 inmates at the Fourth Avenue Jail under 24-hour lockdown at 9 a.m. Thursday.

He cancelled public visitation and said only legal visits would be permitted.

The Sheriff’s Office also said that extra security was ordered for Arpaio after federal investigators told him he again is the target of a million-dollar assassination contract by a Mexican drug cartel.

SB1070 took effect at midnight Wednesday although it was stripped of several provisions by U.S. District Court Judge Susan Bolton, ruling on a challenge filed by the U.S. Justice Department.

An Abominable Decision [Mark R. Levin]

    http://corner.nationalreview.com/post/?q=YjU3MDA5ZmU1NzAzZTJhNTIyYWQxZjEzMzdiMGE2Y2Y=

    Excerpt

First, the court states correctly that the sort of constitutional challenge brought here — a facial challenge — is the most difficult challenge to mount successfully.

It requires that the plaintiff (here the federal government) must demonstrate that the law can never be applied in a constitutional fashion.

The test cannot be met with hypothetical arguments — yet that is exactly what the court relies on in its ruling:

the assertion that the AZ law will impose an impermissible burden on law enforcement, which is to determine the legal status of a person detained pursuant to the AZ law on the reasonable suspicion that the person is in the country illegally.

*** The court does not provide any empirical basis to support its conclusion. ***

    It’s pure supposition.

    (Way above my head!)

(But I have heard more than one talking head say that the judge’s ruling NOT based on merits. So in terms of constitutionality of SB1070, that hasn’t been determined yet?)

  25. blessedistruth Says:

Arizona Governor Jan Brewer says the restrictions could be temporary while the court resolves the issues.

“This is an injunction, they haven’t heard the merits of the bill.

This is just an injunction, a temporary injunction,” Ms Brewer said.

  26. blessedistruth Says:

The injunction is preliminary and does not guarantee that the administration will prevail in its effort over the next several months to have the entire law declared unconstitutional.

But preliminary injunctions must meet a high legal standard, and Bolton specified that the government “is likely to succeed on the merits” of much of its argument.

(I guess we’ll just have to wait and see.)

  27. blessedistruth Says:

“the Justice Department is likely to succeed on the merits” ???

*** it’s also language the judge has to use, in order to issue the injunction ***

    http://www.abc15.com/dpp/news/local_news/news_blogs/commentary%3A-immigration-battle-only-beginning

Clearly, at this stage, there are no winners and losers.

Those who view the temporary injunction as a death blow don’t really understand what it’s all about.

It is still possible this law could find its way into the books as is.

The monkey wrench in the plan, from a 1070 supporters stance, is the language in the ruling which notes the “irreparable harm,” which will result if the law goes into effect.

Judge Susan Bolton also notes the Justice Department is likely to succeed on the merits arguing that certain provisions are pre-empted by federal law.

That’s a serious clue into her thinking, but one of the lawyers who argued these cases told me,

*** it’s also language the judge has to use, in order to issue the injunction ***

In other words, Bolton could still rule in the state’s favor, but it’s not likely.

Meantime, good luck to the state in filing an appeal with the 9th circuit court of appeals in San Francisco.

Often criticized as the most liberal court in the U.S., it has the highest percentage of judges appointed by Democrats.

The court famously ruled the “under God” phrase in the pledge of allegiance violated the establishment clause in the Constitution (prohibiting the establishment of a national religion).

The ruling was later overturned by the Supreme Court.

    So what’s next?

A long slog toward a showdown in front of “the 9.”

It’ll make this week look like a little skirmish.

The economy is draining his popularity more and more every day.

The Reuters poll suggests it is his weakest issue, and voters are gloomier about America’s direction than they were last summer.

    That’s not an unreasonable assessment.

Though the U.S. economy is expanding, the annual growth rate is probably now closer to 2 percent than 3 percent

    — not enough to chip away much at the 9.5 percent unemployment rate before the elections come around.

A change of control in Congress might seem a harbinger of gridlock next year.

The dark scenario would involve battles as Republicans try to repeal parts of recent healthcare and financial sector legislation.

But with greater numbers, the GOP might in fact feel more secure and thus more willing to haggle

    — as it did during Bill Clinton’s presidency.

Hashing out compromises would, however, also require Obama to shift toward the Republicans on key issues like taxes and regulation.

Doing so would be a much better option than spending his next two years defending the sweeping reforms passed in his first two.

(Repubs have to win back House first. Not a foregone conclusion.)

And what about the opportunity cost?

All those hundreds of billions which could have been “spent” on long-term cuts in corporate and capital gains taxes that would have made America more competitive and boost growth.

Even a tax holiday (as suggested by Art Laffer) would have been a more effective approach.

their denial became an informative denial.

The central tenet of the Office of Information Practices (OIP) letter is that the agency should give the same reply whether they have the record or not.

To my knowledge the birthers have not shown that the Hawaii Department of Health replies that they cannot release the information in one case, and that they have no information in another.

    Inside a Radical Manifesto

    http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,598064,00.html

    Excerpt

How do you successfully convince America that they need a revolution?

    Their solution:

“First by creating a pervasive politicization and second by relating everything to the most militant and advanced struggles going on so that they influence and set the pace for a lot more people.”

Make everything political and create or relate it to a crisis. And, of course, this is a standard tactic of politicians today. Beat up America.

Say it’s worse than it really is. Equate the capitalist system and our challenges to the worst the world has to offer.

    Have we seen that today?

    (BEGIN VIDEO CLIPS)

SEN. RICHARD DURBIN, D – ILL.: This must have happened by Nazis, soviets in their gulags or some mad regime — Pol Pot or others — that had no consideration for human beings.

NEW YORK CITY MAYOR BLOOMBERG: Terrorists kill people. Weapons of mass destruction have the potential to kill an enormous numbers of people,

Global warming in the long term has the potential to kill everybody.

ANDY STERN, FORMER SEIU PRESIDENT: America is not clearly going to be the dominant economic superpower in the long run.

    (END VIDEO CLIPS)

The radicals of the Weather Underground knew that they still had an uphill battle.

Luckily, they also felt that they were smarter than everyone else and they could understand the masses and their petty motivations:

“Much of this category gets some relative privileges — i.e. benefits — from imperialism, which constitute some material basis for being racist or pro-imperialist.”

So people are their stupid or bigots. They’re talking about you. You’re just not enlightened.

You can’t see the correct path — so they try to avoid change and then you become racist and ignorant. Or, to put it another way:

    (BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

PRESIDENT BARACK OBAMA: You go to a lot of small towns in Pennsylvania, like a lot of small towns in the Midwest, the jobs have been gone now for 25 years and nothing’s replaced it.

And they’ve gone through the Clinton administration and Bush administration and each successful administration has said that somehow these communities are going to regenerate and they have not.

It’s not surprising then they get bitter and they cling to guns or religion or antipathy toward people that aren’t like them or anti-immigrant stuff or you know anti-trade sentiments.

    (END VIDEO CLIP)

What the ignorant masses don’t understand is while they’re clinging to their silly traditions, the truth is that their wealth isn’t really their wealth.

In a truly progressive society their wealth belongs to the world.

Former Extraterrestrial Exposure Law proves Extraterrestrials live among us

    http://www.agoracosmopolitan.com/home/Frontpage/2007/08/31/01735.html

In the Exopolitics Journal, Dr. Michael E. Salla documents that,

“In 1969, NASA passed a federal regulation dealing with ‘Extra-terrestrial Exposure’.

The Extraterrestrial Exposure law, offers a legal precedent for the detention and indefinite imprisonment of any individual who comes into contact with extraterrestrials.”

The existence of such law at any time, is a basic acknowledgement that government interests are aware that Extraterrestrials have come into contact with the human population of Earth.

    [….]

Private citizens can be denied their constitutional rights despite the imputation that such laws or regulations prohibiting unauthorized contact with extraterrestrials had been withdrawn and placed on reserve status.

Dr. Salla documents discreet testimonies of different contactees and whistleblowers which suggest that extraterrestrial visitors who are virtually indistinguishable from humans are living among us.

These extraterrestrial visitors appear to have very attractive physical characteristics, extraterrestrial females being described as among the most beautiful women that male observers have witnessed.

The documented extraterrestrials go to great trouble in learning the indigenous language of the culture they are immersed in, learning how to drive and navigate on highways systems, and taking innocuous jobs over several years.

Dr. Salla indicates that, extraterrestrials visitors are monitored and even taken into custody before being released which he says, suggests that a vast covert monitoring system is in place.

Some Extraterrestrials living among us appear to be operating in a manner similar to a celestial peace corps where they try to blend in.

They presumably wish to learn about Earth culture and behaviour; and to, perhaps, assist in passing on information to selected individuals.

The fact that these extraterrestrials are monitored rather than immediately taken into permanent custody suggests that decisions have been taken by responsible government agencies to tolerate such an extraterrestrials presence.

However, it appears that other human-looking Extraterrestrials living among us, are a part of an apparent alliance of Manipulative Extraterrestrials, which seeks to help facilitate the organized control and exploitation of Earth.

Such human-looking Manipulative Extraterrestrials and their controlled human minions have been linked by various Exopolitics groups to a currently being initiated totalitarian “New World Order” agenda.

    Understanding the Health Care System

    http://www.openmarket.org/2010/07/29/understanding-the-health-care-system/

As Dan Mitchell points out, real health care reform would have just two parties to most transactions: buyer and seller.

Obamacare Complexity vs Free Market Simplicity

There are two other things I’d like to see. One is that health insurance should not be linked to your job.

Under both the current system and Obamacare, if you lose your job, you lose your insurance at exactly the time you need it most.

This can be done by treating employer-provided insurance exactly the same as individual insurance in the tax code.

Employer-provided insurance is currently given special treatment.

Real reform would also fundamentally change the way we use health insurance.

The purpose of insurance is to insure against unexpected risks. Your annual physical does not fit that description.

Having insurers pay for routine, expected expenses is like using your auto insurance to pay for a tank of gas and a car wash.

No wonder premiums are so high. Health insurance isn’t really insurance.

It’s pre-paying for your health care.

And it also has one whopper of a principal-agent problem that explains a large portion of why health costs are so shockingly high.

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Principal-agent_problem

Charge: U.S. promoting abortion in Kenya

    http://www.bpnews.net/BPnews.asp?ID=33429

Smith, R.-N.J., has based his charge of illegal activity by the Obama administration on the Siljander Amendment, which Congress has adopted annually stating that “no foreign assistance funds may be used to lobby for or against abortion.”

Smith, citing USAID information that $23 million has been expended in Kenya to fund nonprofit organizations promoting voter turnout, has waged his allegation of illegality since mid-July, including a July 21 news conference and written statement.

To date, Smith’s allegations have resulted in the U.S. Embassy in Kenya suspending funding to nine of as many as 200 recipient organizations.

Smith has noted that one of the groups — which helped draft the broadened abortion language — has ties to the Planned Parenthood Federation of America.

The nine organizations “may be only a tip of the iceberg,” Smith asserted at the July 21 news conference.

Republicans need to net 39 seats to reach a bare majority of 218 seats.

(I read they need to net 40 seats.)

The Cook Political Report’s current outlook is for a 5 to 7 seat net gain for Republicans.

AS SB 1070 TAKES EFFECT IN ARIZONA, SHERIFF JOE ARPAIO MOBILIZES DEPUTIES/POSSE…FOR CRIME SUPPRESSION

    ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION OPERATION NUMBER 1070

    http://www.borderfirereport.net/latest/sheriff-arpaio-conducts-17th-crime-suppression-operation-despite-federal-ruling.php

Thursday’s operation, dubbed “Operation 1070” will be the 17th such crime suppression/illegal immigration operation by the Sheriff since March 2008.

In the sixteen previous operations, nearly 1000 violators of the law have been arrested, a full 60% of whom were later determined to be illegal immigrants.

In addition to those statistics, Sheriff’s ICE trained officers in the jails have investigated over 331,000 men and women as they were booked into jail and 36,000 of those were determined to be here illegally.

Immigration holds were placed on all 36,000 making them subject to deportation after their sentences are adjudicated.

As for Thursday’s operation, Arpaio says he will be most interested to witness the arrest numbers.

Previous operation always resulted in arrests, but Thursday’s operation may be different, he says, because SB1070 may already be seeing the effects of being a deterrent.

“Local law enforcement may find that we don’t come across the numbers of illegal aliens we usually do in operations such as this because many have left the area,” Arpaio says.

Obama could secure AZ border if he wanted to.

Obama could determine which illegal immigrants are dangerous and deport them if he wanted to.

We could then find a way for other illegal immigrants to stay that doesn’t involve automatic and immediate citizenship and voting rights.

There are a lot of good ideas out there.

Instead, Obama is willing to sacrifice Arizonans’ safety in order to get what he really wants.

Which are grateful ex-illegals he believes will go to the polls and vote for Dems.

    Upping the ante on eligibility

    http://www.wnd.com/index.php?fa=PAGE.view&pageId=185669

I commend to everyone interested in this question the New York Times best-selling book, “Manchurian President,” by Aaron Klein and Brenda Elliott.

This is hardly the first time I have mentioned this book, which I helped publish and helped title.

It’s a masterful, well-documented account of Obama’s extremist ties, but it’s much more than that.

In fact, it is the first best-selling book in America to include a full chapter on the eligibility question – but, I suspect, not the last.

What are the conclusions of this carefully crafted examination of the issue?

Was Obama born in Hawaii? It doesn’t matter, say the authors.

If the president is telling the truth about who his parents were, he is, for all intents and purposes, ineligible to serve under the Constitution and legal precedents.

I agree – with one caveat.

Since I don’t believe anything Obama says, I still want to see that birth certificate.

I don’t accept that Barack Obama Sr. and Stanley Ann Dunham are necessarily his birth parents.

    (Wow! That’s pretty far-fetched!)

The historical record is pretty thin there, too.

Why should we accept such an assertion at face value when practically everything Obama has told us about his life story has proven to be untrue?

Nevertheless, it is certainly an intriguing piece of research by Klein and Elliott – a forgotten chapter in an extraordinarily well-received book.

And if you are following this story of eligibility and cover-up the way I am, you will want to get it and share it with everyone you know.

It should add new pressure to the public’s demand for the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth about who this guy in the White House really is.

As for me, I still very much want to see that birth certificate.

I am more convinced than ever that, when we see it, there will be a lot of very surprised Americans.

(But Mr. Adams has said it doesn’t exist.)

(Tim Adams, a former senior elections clerk for Honolulu, has said there “definitely” are problems with Obama’s Hawaii birth story.

“As of the time I was in Hawaii working in the elections office we had many people who were asking about the eligibility of Senator Obama to be president. I was told at the time there is no long-form birth record, which would have been the case if President Obama was born in [a] hospital in Honolulu. There is no such form in Hawaii,” he said.)

I’m not sure what it’s going to reveal, but there is almost certainly some shocking information in there that will change our perceptions about the man in the White House.

    “some shocking information” ?

perhaps, but not necessarily info which makes him ineligible.

That’s the problem with this economic argument, Chris, is when you think you’re just taxing rich people like Bill Gates, what you’re end up doing is you`re hitting successful small businesses.

When we tax our employers more than our foreign competitors tax theirs, they get our jobs and we lose in global competition.

So, we ought to be keeping our eye in economic growth and job creation, what`s necessary to do, and that means low tax rates on businesses and small businesses in certainty.

I suppose those records are the same place as the original birth index for 1961, the Index to Foreign Births, Index to Delayed Birth Certificates, Index to Certificates of Hawaiian Birth, and a certain individual’s birth certificate: the Interpol Office in New York City (I suspect) – the one place in this country that Obama has made sure cannot be searched by law enforcement.

All those records are similarly claimed as “missing”/destroyed – all of which are required to be permanently retained so if they have been destroyed they were ILLEGALLY destroyed.

The us state dept in response to a FOIA in November 2008 says they found six documents responsive to the request and enclosed them.

    Then they say

“We did not locate a 1965 passport application referenced in an application for amendment of passport that is included in the released documents. Many passport applications and other non-vital records from that period were destroyed during the 1980’s in accordance with guidance from the General Services Administration.

So they don’t say for sure they were destroyed, just they can’t find them..but the rest of her file is intact?

Methinks someone pulled her earlier records not that they were destroyed.

Why destroy only earlier records and not the one referring to 1965?

They would have been in the same file..

They took more than a year and a half to come up with this.

I was sitting on the fence, but now I am inclined to believe Obama may well have been born in Kenya,

there is no logical or reasonable explanation fot the time delay then failure to provide these records that are of National Interest.

Where there is smoke there is fire.

For all you Obots, this is not good news for you it appears to be a massive coverup.

Go ahead explain how just some records are lost or destroyed and while you are at it explain the tooth fairy.

If Obamas mama did not apply for a passport in 1959/60/61 they would have found her 1965 application showing it was her first application.

If a passport was issued July 1960, it would be valid for 3 years and on renewal valid for another 2 years to July 1965.

She could have also gotten a passport in 1961 and not renewed it gotten a new one in 1965.

Since you reliedon the OECD “value added” definitions for China, why don’t you use those for other countries?

Then you would be comparing apples to apples.

The problem I have with those data is that they don’t provide any measure of the influence of the state on private sector transactions .

It is really not very useful to claim that China’s state only affects about 40 % of total GDP.

But, good measures are difficult if not impossible to come by.

The statements of mine you refer to were taken from back of the envelope calculations using

Best-seller: Even Hawaii birth won’t make Obama legitimate

If his parental claims are true, they could not confer ‘natural born citizenship,’ say authors

    http://www.wnd.com/index.php?fa=PAGE.view&pageId=184453

    But this list is fascinating!

Among the many finds of “The Manchurian President”:

    1

    A coalition of extremists, including a founder of William Ayers’ Weather Underground domestic-terrorist organization, helped craft Obama’s “stimulus” bill;

    2

    Obama’s health-care policy, masked by moderate populist rhetoric, was pushed along and partially crafted by extremists, some of whom reveal in their own words that their principal aim is to achieve corporate socialist goals and a vast increase in government powers;

    3

    Extremists are among Obama’s “czars” and other top advisers. New information links top advisers Axelrod and Valerie Jarrett to communist activists. The book uncovers correspondence in which a communist confesses to mentoring and educating Axelrod and helping the top Obama aide to secure his first job. Obama then later worked with the same communist, the book finds;

    4

    Copious research reveals more about Obama’s deep ties to Ayers, uncovering for the first time where and how Obama first met Ayers – and it is much earlier than previously believed;

    5

    Important aspects of Obama’s carefully covered-up college years, with new details of his student career at Occidental College and later at Columbia University, are revealed;

    6

    Obama’s early years, including his previously overlooked early childhood ties to a radical, far-left church, are documented;

    7

    Obama’s associations with the Nation of Islam, Black Liberation Theology and black political extremists are also revealed, with extensive new information on the subjects;

    8

Obama’s deep ties to ACORN, which are much more extensive than previously documented elsewhere, are covered. The book also crucially describes how a socialist-led, ACORN-affiliated union helped facilitate Obama’s political career and now exerts major influence in the White House.

    Balance of Power

If Americans are troubled by any or all of the above, then they should really think about voting Repub in November.

To counter Obama’s power and regain a semblance of balance.

Even if it’s for the first time.

I never voted Repub until 2004.

  107. blessedistruth Says:

It’s getting harder and harder to post some of these links.

I know bloggers can’t be held responsible for what some of their commenters post.

And I’ve seen some of the comments at Democratic Underground.

They’re just as bad if not worse.

What truly upsets me, besides just how mean-spirited extremists can be, is this.

Say you have someone who voted Dem in 2008 who just might be persuaded to vote Repub in 2010.

They’ve heard about eligibility questions, but never really paid much attention.

Until today, they do a search, click on a link, scroll down to comments.

And bam, really offensive words are staring them right in the face.

They probably conclude these “birthers” really are disgusting and move on.

    Another opportunity lost.

Having said all that, there’s a debate going on about whether or not Obama was adopted. And if so, did he lose his U.S. citizenship.

And if so, what is his current status and does it meet eligibility requirements.

    Did Lolo adopt Barack?

Stanley Ann Dunham Obama Soetoro-Passport Application: what is Obama and the Government hiding?

    August 1st, 2010

Some of Stanley Ann (Dunham) Obama Soetoro’s Passport Application Records Are Released due to Strunk FOIA Filing

UPDATED passport file analysis and comments …

    http://americangrandjury.org/stanley-ann-dunham-obama-soetoro-passport-application-what-is-obama-and-the-government-hiding

“When the original and complete birth records file for Obama going back to and including Aug 1961 and all subsequent amendments are released, it will likely be very damning to Obama’s self created nativity narrative and other stories of his early life.

Children legally adopted at age 5 and under have their new citizenship governed by the international Hague Convention Treaty on adopting children of which the USA is a signatory.

That is likely why Obama alludes to his being age 6 when those Indonesian records are discussed in regards to when his step-father “adopted” him and saying that the adoption occurred in Indonesia.

I think that story is more false direction and misinformation type data put out by Obama to throw one off the true trail.”

(And pls disregard the disgusting comments.)

(Unless Obama decides to run again in 2012, none of this really matters.)

The part of Indonesian law that provides that a child under five adopted by an Indonesian father is an Indonesian citizen is automatic. Unlike other provisions, it does not require that the child take any action to renounce some other citizenship.

You are right that little Barry’s status under the Indonesian statutes did not terminate his US citizenship. It is not easy for a minor to affirmatively renounce US citizenship. And he was not required to do so under that Indonesian provision.

However, US law at the time Barack was in college provided that if an ADULT takes certain actions respect to establishing citizenship in another country (for example, obtaining a passport), then he loses US citizenship.

Did Barack, after turning 18, make an affirmative application to renew his Indonesian passport? That would appear sufficient under US law to cause him AT THAT TIME to lose his US citizenship, without the US state department necessarily even knowing about it.

IIRC the Haugue agreement did not allow for joint citizenship if one country was not in agreement. At the time BO was in Indonesia, their regime did not allow joint/dual citizenship.

For what it’s worth, Sir John, this has been my gut feeling all along: That regardless of where he was born, the real clincher is that as an adult he might have tried to use Indonesian citizenship as a door-opener for obtaining benefits of some kind, most likely at Columbia University. Your avenue of investigation most surely needs further exploration.

That assumes he was adopted and had Indonesian citizenship to begin with.

    Q+A – Contentious issues in Kenya’s referendum

    http://af.reuters.com/article/kenyaNews/idAFLDE66S0ZT20100801

WHY ARE CHRISTIANS AGAINST KADHI COURTS?

Opposition to the Muslim kadhi courts has brought together Christian clergy and some politicians to oppose the proposed constitution.

The kadhi courts deal with matters of marriage, divorce and inheritance among Muslims.

The referendum has heightened differences between Kenya’s Muslims and its Christian churches, which have criticised the draft constitution for including the kadhi courts, saying it would give power to religious courts in a secular nation.

The religious tensions coincide with security concerns in the region with authorities on high alert against Muslim insurgents in neighbouring Somalia.

Al Shabaab, a Somali rebel group which professes loyalty to al Qaeda, claimed responsibility for two bomb attacks in Uganda which increased concerns about Shabaab’s ability to carry out more attacks in the region and beyond.

Kenya’s constitution has provided for kadhi courts since 1963, with the courts serving the mainly coastal Muslim population, but the east African country’s secular High Court has jurisdiction over civil and criminal matters.

A kadhi court verdict can be appealed at the High Court.

The constitution proposes to widen the sphere of the kadhi courts beyond Coast Province, meaning their jurisdiction would expand across the nation and their scope would increase.

Kenya’s population of about 40 million is about 45 percent Protestant, 33 percent Roman Catholic and 10 percent Muslim, the rest following indigenous faiths or other beliefs.

    7. THE DRAFT DOES NOT MAKE KENYANS EQUAL BEFORE THE LAW

If the draft is passed as it is, then there will be two classes of people in Kenya: Kenyans and Muslims.

This is because Muslims are exempted from the Bill of Rights by Article 24 (4).

All Kenyans should be equal before the law.

    8. THE DRAFT ENTRENCHES KADHI’S COURTS EVEN THOUGH THE HIGH COURT SAID THEY ARE UN-CONSTITUTIONAL

The landmark ruling by the High Court on 24th May 2010 said that inclusion of Kadhi’s Courts in the Constitution is discriminatory, illegal and unconstitutional!

In disregard of this ruling, the draft in Articles 169 and 170 entrenches them.

The Kadhi’s Courts are an internal dispute resolution mechanism for Muslims, and therefore they should not be in the constitution.

The High Court also said that the government should not use tax payers’ money to maintain the Kadhi’s Courts or pay their salaries.

If the Kadhi’s Courts are not constitutional in the current constitution, why should they be put in the new constitution?

There is no, real “media” anymore.

Curiosity and doubt used to be ingrained, in every “journalist” -—

Now, the political correctness in the newsroom has castrated any real “investigative journalism” -—

Unless the target is a conservative, of course!

    LIGHTEN UP!

You can not expect a politician to go out on a limb, on this one.

Yes, I have serious doubts concerning Obama and I am sure Obama has lied, repeatedly, about his past.

However, this is NOT the hill we want all of our conservative candidates to die on, is it?

    http://www.americanthinker.com/2010/08/home_is_where_the_heart_is.html

Obama does seem to have a curious interest in Kenyan politics, spending (possibly illegally) $23 million of U.S. funds to promote a new Kenyan constitution which is both pro-abortion and pro-Sharia.

Tea Partiers only dream that Obama would take such an interest in the Constitution he swore to uphold.
