A new physical form that would allow the companions of the Creator to sojourn in the Earth

At college campuses during the 1960s, some people demonstrated for world peace by carrying a Flag of the Races (also called the Flag of the Human Race) with five horizontal stripes (from top to bottom they were red, black, brown, yellow, and white, representing respectively the American Indian race, the Black race, the Malayan race, the Mongolian race, and the Caucasian race).

In five different regions, in five different races, in five different nations the souls entered.

Conditions in the Earth had changed dramatically. En masse the souls had entered, preparing for generations of incarnations that were to be a part of this new world; a joyful solution, it was hoped.

In five different regions, in five different races, in five different nations the souls entered, each group manifesting a unique characteristic of their celestial nature and each responsible for maintaining and enlightening the physical world with that celestial aspect while the cycles of Earth-life moved toward their destiny.

Leila was among those souls charged with developing the white race. Their original center was in the Caucasus Mountains, though many of them migrated into what today would be called northern Africa, Egypt, eastern Asia and Europe.

In Egypt, the high-priest Ra Ta, and several others working closely with him, were preparing for Leila’s entry.

As mentioned briefly, the celestially aware companions entered in five different races. This was originally accomplished more in consciousness than in form, for their bodies did not immediately reflect true, pure human qualities but had to be developed toward this aim.

At this early stage in man’s entry into the Earth, human qualities were more mental images than physical forms, and in order to convert them into physical reality, it was essential to work within the laws of evolution and genetics native to the earth.

Ra Ta and his companions had finally achieved the perfected white body (originating in the Caucus and Carpathian areas, perfected in Egypt).

The red had already been perfected (Atlantis and North America), as well as the brown (Lemuria and the Andes), the black (Sudan and Congo) and the yellow (Gobi area).

Leila had been the soul that entered this first purely Caucasian body. Her new name, appropriate, was Tar Ello, “body of light.” It was a high achievement for Leila. She gave hope and inspiration to many through her beautiful reflection of one of the five aspects of the heavenly “form.”

Man was no longer a beast of the world, but a descendant from another world above; a beautiful descendant. Now the work of the ascension was ahead of them, the return to their life “before the world was.”

Though Tar Ello had accomplished much in achieving her first flesh body, it would prove to be a very difficult incarnation for her.

For those unfamiliar with the word pentatonic, the prefix ‘penta’ is a Latin term for five: i.e. pentagram, Pentagon, pentagonal.

Origins Of The Five Races

Question: Did the appearance of what became the five races occur simultaneously?

Answer Cayce: Occurred at once.

Question: Describe the earth’s surface at the period of the appearance of the five projections.

Answer Cayce: This has been given. In the first or that known as the beginning, or in the Caucasian and Carpathian, or the Garden Of Eden, in that land which now lies much in the desert, yet much in mountain and much in rolling lands there.

The extreme northern portions were then the southern portions, or the polar regions were then turned to where they occupied more of the tropical and semitropical regions; hence it would be hard to discern or disseminate the change.

The Nile entered into the Atlantic Ocean.

What is now the Sahara was an inhabited land and very fertile.

What is now the central portion of this country, or the Mississippi basin, was then all in the ocean; only the plateau was existent, or the regions that
are now portions of Nevada, Utah and Arizona formed the greater part of what we know as the United States.

That land along the Atlantic seaboard formed the outer portion then, or the lowlands of Atlantis.

The Andean or the Pacific coast of South America occupied then the extreme western portion of L em u r i a.

The Urals and the northern regions of same were turned into a tropical land.

The desert in the Mongolian land was then the fertile portion.

This may enable you to form some concept of the states of the earth’s representations at that time.

The oceans were then turned about; they no longer bear their names, yet from whence obtained they their names? What is the legend, even, as to their names?

Question: Are the following the correct places? Atlantean, the red race?

Answer Cayce: Atlantean and American, the red race.

Question: Upper Africa for the black?

Answer Cayce: Or what would be known now as the more western portion of upper Egypt for the black.

You see, with the changes, when there came the uprisings in the Atlantean land, and the sojourning southward, with the turning of the axis, the white and yellow races
came more into that portion of Egypt, India, Persia and Arabia.

Britain goes crop circle crazy – and we have the pictures to prove it!

    By Mail Online Reporter

Last updated on 20th August 2010

It’s a matter of debate whether the August ‘silly season’ is a high point for crop circle reports because there’s not much other news about, or whether the warm summer nights are the ideal time for alien visitors, mischievous time-travellers and tipsy students to exercise their craft.

All that we can say for certain is that there definitely seems to be a lot of it about.

A magnificent 300 foot long ‘crop circle’ that seems to depict the Holy Grail has appeared in mysterious circumstances in a field close to the Avebury stone circle in Wiltshire.

The crop formation was spotted at about 3 am by investigators who were watching the fields in the area hoping to catch the circle makers at work.

The researchers, equipped with night vision glasses, were astonished to find the circle had appeared in a field they had been watching just an hour and a half earlier when they returned after checking other fields in the area.

The formation appears to represent the Holy Grail, a sacred object in many Christian traditions, most often identified with the cup used by Jesus at the Last Supper, and is supposed to possess miraculous powers.

Steve Alexander, a crop circle photographer for many years said

‘This is the third formation this year to relate to Jesus Christ. Only last month two circles straddling the M4 appeared to represent the face of Jesus Christ on the Turin Shroud.

There has also been a crop formation representing a crucifix close to the Avebury stone circle, which has been the centre of crop circle activity for many years now.’

AC: My understanding is that all of us become teachers.

    Val: All of us?

AC: Yes. We all go to different parts of physicality in fifth density.

Val: And become teachers. Because of this experience we have had on Earth?

    AC: Yes.

Val: You said that as things begin to “heat up” vibrationally here, we are going to have access to buried memory within the genetics. How is someone who is a “redneck” going to handle that?

AC: Ha. I haven’t a clue. I am kind of worried on how I am going to handle it.

Brewer blasts Obama over submission to UN specifying AZ immigration law

The Obama administration has opposed the Arizona bill, but not even Eric Holder could make a legal case that it violated human rights.

Instead, the DoJ attacked it on federal supremacy in immigration affairs, essentially a technicality, by claiming that Arizona had tried to pre-empt federal immigration-control efforts.

If the Obama administration really believed that this is a human-rights “concern,” then why didn’t they bother to make that claim in federal court?

Instead, Obama and Clinton just decided to use it as a cheap moral-relativist point in their new version of an apology tour.

The entire submission should be withdrawn, and the Obama administration should apologize to the people of Arizona for the insult.

His BC almost certainly says exactly what the Factcheck COLB has on it, but it includes a note of a 2006 amendment (probably to add his birth weight) and it also has a 2006 certificate number and says that it is a LATE birth certificate.

That’s what the research seems to indicate.

Whatever big secret he’s hiding (probably that he was not in Hawaii within the first 30 days of his birth to be examined by a Hawaii doctor who would have finished the Hawaii BC for him), the fact is that the BC he’s got in Hawaii has no legal value.

It’s worth as much legally as Monopoly money.

Summary that links to the documentation here:

The Passport Office has revealed in an affidavit what is almost certainly a fraudulent “memo” from 1984 in order to explain why they have not released the pre-1967 passport records for Obama’s mother.

They have also spent the last year ignoring a request for the index of passports issued, which is required to be kept permanently and would immediately and easily tell what passports Obama’s mother had before 1967.

OBAMA ELIGIBILITY RALLY, Washington D.C. 10/23/10

However, the most important issue is Obama not being Constitutionally eligible to be President:

    1) not being “natural born” being born in Mombasa, Kenya; and

    2) even more important the fact that Obama was “adopted” or legally “acknowledged” by his step-father, Lolo Soetoro, and his school record in Indonesia indicates the “Imposter’s” name is “Barry Soetoro”, his nationality being “Indonesia” and his religion being “Islam”.

Obama, the Imposter’s legal name is “Barry Soetoro”.

    Obama must be stopped !

    YES WE CAN !

Berg is nothing if not consistent.

But he may be right about Obama’s current status making him ineligible.

Personally, I think we should concentrate on state legislatures passing “birther” bills.

If Obama is indeed eligible, then he needn’t fear being required by the various states to prove his eligibility.

On election night in November 2008 I predicted Obama would only get four years and good luck getting blamed for everything that goes wrong the next four years.

President Obama apparently has his own birth certificate on his mind, literally.

“I can’t spend all of my time with my birth certificate plastered on my forehead,” Obama told Brian Williams in an interview last night on NBC’s Nightly News.

The remark was in reaction to a series of questions focusing on why a large percentage of Americans have serious doubts about the religious faith of the commander in chief, but Obama also took a shot a so-called “birthers” who want documented proof that Obama is a “natural-born citizen” and thus constitutionally eligible to hold the presidency.

“The facts are the facts. We went through some of this during the campaign – there is a mechanism, a network of misinformation that in a new media era can get churned out there constantly,” said an obviously irritated Obama.

“I will always put my money on the American people, and I’m not going to be worried too much about what rumors are floating around there.”

A Pew poll this month revealed an astonishing 18 percent of Americans identify Obama as Muslim, and only a third identified Obama as Christian.

Another poll by CNN, whose editorial commentary largely supports President Obama and his policies, delivered some bad news on his apparent birthday earlier this month:

6 of 10 people are uncertain the president was even born in the United States.

    Friday, 27 August 2010

Mr Ruto was the de facto leader of the ‘No’ camp that campaigned against the new Constitution.

The group comprised politicians and Church leaders who wanted the referendum delayed for issues they considered contentious to be amended.

They were opposed to the inclusion of the kadhi courts, the abortion clause and the provisions on land, among other issues.

His party, Orange Democratic Movement, however did not nominate him to the parliamentary committee charged with overseeing the implementation of the new Constitution.

Other key ‘No’ campaigners like Cabinet ministers Samuel Poghisio and Naomi Shaban were also locked out of the committee.

Former President Moi, who attended the promulgation ceremony, said he had no regrets for opposing the new law.

He said he campaigned against it for the sake of national unity.

He reiterated that his stand on the contentious issues had not changed.

“Majority of the people in the Rift Valley and churches voted against the draft and their concerns should not be ignored.”

What Did Saturday’s Crowd at the Mall Mean?

    Posted by: Hugh Hewitt

My Washington Examiner column this morning answers that question.

Hugh Hewitt: Seventy percent of Americans know they’ve been conned

And this post from yesterday, “The Need for Speed,” argues where the GOP must go from here.

The president’s dismissal of the crowd as something Glen Beck “stirred up” underscores his detachment from the distress in the economy and the concern average Americans have over the country’s direction.

Beck provided an occasion for a gathering, but he didn’t drag at least 300,000 people to the Mall.

So long as the president continues to govern with a remote arrogance that is mirrored in the statements of Nancy Pelosi and other senior Democrats, the electoral fury will continue to gather.

    That’s exactly how I feel!

Could Obama go out of his way to be more dismissive?

Where The GOP Goes Next: The Need for Speed

    Posted by: Hugh Hewitt

That sort of tenacity on the political field is necessary in 2011, and it requires quickly getting to the debate and engaging in the confrontation.

The long ballet over Social Security reform in the spring of 2005 demonstrated that the Democrats will not deal with these issues seriously but will demagogue them and refuse to ever get to the business of reform.

As with Obamacare they will simply dress up massive spending, regulatory overkill and tax hikes and call it reform.

There is no reason to ask them to negotiate until after the House acts.

The GOP has to put its plans out there, pass its proposed budgets and its proposed appropriations, and do so with the full knowledge that

Democrats and their kept JournoListas (That’s a keeper!)

will denounce them every day all day for doing so.

No matter. That is what this election is about.

The GOP doesn’t have to win these battles, but it has to fight them, furiously and without pause and without sacrificing the key principles.

If they do that, the gains they make on 11/2 will be consolidated and added to in 2012.

If they don’t, they will forfeit the rarest of all things in politics — a second chance.

The Rally was called by Glenn Beck, who has captured the heart of many Americans and raised the ire of some in the main stream media.

Glenn Beck’s Rally to ‘Restore Honor’ Gathers Half a Million Americans, Makes History

The address given by Dr. Alveda King, the niece of Dr. Martin Luther King, secured this heroic and inspiring woman’s place in American history.

This is the 47th anniversary of her uncle, the late, great Christian minister and human rights hero, Dr Martin Luther Kings’ famous “I Have a Dream” Speech.

He would have been proud of his niece.

She is an heir of his legacy and certainly has his extraordinary gift for prophetic rhetoric which can rouse the heart of a Nation.

This was a masterful and inspired speech, given on the day when the Nation honors one of our greatest Americans.

Dr Alveda King candidly and honestly declared that “our material gains seem to be going the way of our moral losses” but then insisted “We are Not without Hope!”.

She referenced the iconic words of her uncle, adding “I Still Have a Dream”.

She roused the crowd and called the Nation to unity through the restoration of the guiding principles which inspired her uncle’s heroic life and death and informed the American experiment.

The pundits who condescendingly sought to marginalize the event for weeks before it happened – going so far as to attempt to paint it with allegations of racism – should have been ashamed.

The stage was filled with men and women of color, who, with the raucous support of the hundreds of thousands gathered, affirmed our solidarity as Americans.

Dr. Alveda King reminded the crowd that we are ” united by blood as one race, the human race.”

    Boehner’s Pro-Growth Message

Is a mighty stock rally next?

Well, Mr. Boehner’s speech was a very promising beginning to all this.

    Near the top he said,

“Right now, America’s employers are afraid to invest in an economy stalled by ‘stimulus’ spending and hamstrung by uncertainty.

The prospect of higher taxes, stricter rules, and more regulations has employers sitting on their hands.”

His first proposal to break that uncertainty? Boehner said,

“President Obama should announce he will not carry out his plan to impose job-killing tax hikes on families and small businesses.”

In other words, extend all the Bush tax cuts. To this end, Boehner quoted former President John F. Kennedy:

“An economy constrained by high tax rates will never produce enough revenue to balance the budget, just as it will never create enough jobs.”

And Boehner was just getting started.

He called for an Obama pledge to veto any lame-duck congressional actions that would damage the economy, including the union card-check bill and a national cap-and-trade energy tax.

He called for the repeal of Obamacare’s job-killing 1099 mandate that would require small-business paperwork to show any purchases of more than $600.

He slammed Obamacare in general, noting the creation of more than 160 boards, bureaucracies, programs, and commissions, and the 3,833 pages of new regulations already in place.

He called for an aggressive spending-reduction package that would rollback non-defense discretionary expenditures to 2008 levels, before the stimulus plan was put in place.

He said he wants to end TARP and all TARP bailouts.

He bemoaned the fact that no one in the White House has any business experience, chiding Obama by saying,

“We’ve tried 19 months of government-as-community-organizer. It hasn’t worked. Our fresh start needs to begin now.”

He called for a freeze on federal pay and hiring.

He noted that, on average, federal employees now make more than double what private-sector workers take in.

He cited Wisconsin congressman Paul Ryan’s plan for $1.3 trillion in specific spending cuts. He called for strict budget caps.

And he argued for pro-growth tax reform that would get rid of

“the undergrowth of deductions, credits, and special carve-outs in order to bring simplicity and certainty, instead of transfer payments to the favored few.”

And he spotlighted the fiscal restraint of governors Bob McConnell of Virginia and Chris Christie of New Jersey, elected Republican officials who balanced their budgets by throttling spending instead of raising taxes.

All this is good. Very good.

On the heels of Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents’ 258-0 “vote of no confidence” against their superiors, U.S. Border Patrol agents are slamming President Barack Obama’s administration, especially Attorney General Eric Holder.

“We are receiving reports… that Eric Holder and DOJ have signaled that they [will continue to] challenge SB1070.

This is an obvious political ploy, and Americans should be outraged [that] they actually go after a state for trying to do something about the out-of-control illegal immigration mess.

The Immigration and Nationality Act includes section 287(g), added in 1996, that grants local and state jurisdictions the ability to enforce immigration law with proper training and supervision by federal authorities.

In 2003, Alabama became the second state in the nation to participate in the program by signing a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with the Department of Homeland Security.

Florida was the first state to participate, in 2002, and later Arizona’s Sheriff Joe Arpaio sent his deputies for training.

While many politicians claim their police officers are not allowed to enforce immigration laws, their excuse for ignoring illegal aliens is a canard.

Too few police agencies are taking advantage of the training offered by ICE and DHS.

“Partnerships with our state and local law enforcement colleagues have always been essential to our fight against illegal immigration,” said Paul Kilcoyne, Immigration and Customs Enforcement’s deputy director for investigations.

“This innovative and cooperative effort allows our state troopers to become force multipliers for America’s border security mission.

We always welcome those who enter our country legally, but we won’t stand idly by and do nothing when we catch illegal aliens, some who have committed crimes like armed robbery, rape and drug smuggling, in our state,” he said.

The 287(g) program, one of ICE’s top partnership initiatives, allows a state and local law enforcement entity to enter into a partnership with ICE, under a joint Memorandum of Agreement (MOA), in order to receive delegated authority for immigration enforcement within their jurisdictions.

John McCain, your country is calling

    By David S. Broder
    Thursday, August 26, 2010

There is enough mutual respect between him and the president that McCain’s support will be welcomed by the White House and his opposition understood.

(McCain will do what he believes best for America and Americans. And as far as “mutual respect” — what planet is Broder living on?!)

It is up to McCain to choose when and how to exert the influence he commands, not just as a senior senator but as a man whom millions were prepared to support as chief executive in two campaigns.

One obvious area where he will be needed is his favorite field, national security.

Iraq, where he was prescient and persistent, still poses challenges, and Afghanistan, where Obama badly needs a Republican partner, is likely to be in crisis before it can be called a success.

Behind them looms Iran, which could be this nation’s next big test.

Hardly less important is the role McCain can play within his own party.

In Arizona, he successfully steered the GOP away from an experiment in extremism.

He needs to do this nationally as well, including taking a potentially influential role in shaping the choice of the next presidential nominee.

A load of work — but John McCain has never shirked.

(Broder ignores the fact that Obama has not acted in good faith. And McCain is an Arizonan. And Arizonans are pissed!)

GOP lawmaker warns U.S. faces ‘lost decade’ because of debt

Ryan said the U.S. economy would now be expanding by as much as 8 percent — a pace far faster than those of Western developed countries — if it weren’t for Democratic policies.

“We should be growing at 5, 6, 7, maybe even 8 percent,” he said, noting that past recoveries from deep recession have been more robust than the current one.

The annualized growth rate for the U.S. economy in the last quarter was 1.6 percent.

That number was downgraded last Friday from an earlier estimate of 2.4 percent growth.

Ryan warned that the increased spending and resulting debt — now at $13.3 trillion and expected to grow by roughly $1 trillion annually for the next decade — will lead to higher taxes, deeper cuts to programs such as Medicare and more uncertainty for employers.

“The fiscal policies of our government is going in the exact opposite direction they ought to be going,” Ryan said during a conference call with reporters.

If borrowing and spending were working, Ryan said, the U.S. would not face the problems it has with its economy.

Ryan’s attacks on Democratic policies come as President Obama seeks to push back against the notion that the country is sliding back into recession.

Best-seller: Obama has not proved birthplace

Sole document released leaves open possibility he was born outside Hawaii

    Posted: August 30, 2010

“Regardless, newspaper announcements, even if they had been placed at the time by Obama’s parents, are hardly official proof of birth,” writes Klein.

Others claim the entire birth certificate matter was put to rest on July 22, 2009, when Hawaii’s health director, Chiyome Fukino, released a statement that

she saw “original vital records” that prove “Barrack [sic] Hussein Obama was born in Hawaii and is a natural-born American citizen.”

“I, Dr. Chiyome Fukino, director of the Hawai’i State Department of Health, have seen the original vital records maintained on file by the Hawai’i State Department of Health verifying Barrack Hussein Obama was born in Hawai’i and is a natural-born American citizen. I have nothing further to add to this statement or my original statement issued in October 2008 over eight months ago.”

The official statement spelled the president’s first name wrong, and no detail was given of the specific “vital records” reviewed.

    Writes Klein:

“Fukino’s extremely careful statement actually raises more questions than it answers. Which documents did she review?

Was she referring only to Obama’s short-form COLB?

Perhaps she was referring to pre-natal and post-natal certifications that could technically allow for a parent to obtain a COLB for a child not born in Hawaii.”

Klein argues it is “inappropriate” for Fukino to assert that Obama “is a natural-born American citizen,”

since it is not within the authority of a Department of Health director to declare an individual “natural born,”

when, Klein relates, even the greatest legal minds of the last 235 years could not agree on exactly what that term means.

Even Hawaii birth won’t make Obama legitimate

Obama may not fit the constitutional eligibility requirement that stipulates only “natural born” citizens can serve as U.S. president, concluded “The Manchurian President” book.

An investigation by the authors found that according to correspondence from the framers of the Constitution as well as Supreme Court rulings and the legal writings that helped establish the principles of the Constitution,

Obama is not eligible to serve as president since his father was not a U.S. citizen.

The authors concluded Obama may not be eligible regardless of his place of birth.

The book recommends further legislative and judicial debate.

Also “regardless of his place of birth,” Obama may be ineligible owing to his current status, which may have changed if he lost his citizenship when he was adopted by Lolo Soetoro.

  55. blessedistruth Says:

Dr. M. Zuhdi Jasser is the founder of the American Islamic Forum for Democracy, whose mission is “to provide an authentic Muslim voice advocating for the preservation of the founding principles of the U.S. constitution: liberty and freedom through the separation of mosque and state.”

His parents emigrated from Syria to the United States, where majority rules but minorities are protected like no other place in the world.

America presents opportunities for learning an unfiltered history, expressing all opinions, questioning authority, and creating ideas without censorship—an environment Dr. Jasser believes is consistent with the Islamic faith.

The democratic idea that every citizen, blind to race, faith, and creed, has equal access to government is a cure for the pathology of extremist Islam.

The freedoms offered by a democratic society can be a laboratory for Muslim reform, allowing for open interpretation and debate, and thus the evolution of philosophies.

Dr. Jasser considers the Muslim world currently trapped in a binary choice between Arab secular dictatorship and militant political Islam.

However, he argues that there is a third option: universal liberty.

Islam must be reinterpreted in modernity, which is only possible in an environment where people are free to debate and discuss it without fear of dangerous consequences.

The intolerance of radical Islam is a threat to everyone, East and West, and Dr. Jasser argues, “it is incumbent on us to defeat it for our children.”

Gen. David Petraeus said he shared Karzai’s concern about threats across the border in Pakistan but said the Pakistanis deserve credit for waging what he described as an “impressive counterinsurgency campaign” during the past 18 months.

The Karzai government has been increasingly vocal in recent days about the need to destroy Taliban and al-Qaida sanctuaries in Pakistan.

Afghan National Security Adviser Rangin Dadfar Spanta has argued that U.S. support of Pakistan amounts to nurturing the terrorists’ “main mentor” and that the Afghan people are no longer ready to “pay the price for the international community’s miscalculation and naivety.”

“Given the very clear linkage between attacks on Afghan soil by individuals who have come from Pakistan and are commanded and controlled from Pakistan, I think President Karzai and Dr. Spanta have very legitimate concerns,” Petraeus said.

Still, he added, the Pakistani government has continued to “squeeze the locations in which these individuals have safe haven sanctuary, recognizing that more work needs to be done.”

Senate Republicans were quick to strike back after President Obama urged passage of a long-stalled small business bill and possible plans to let tax cuts expire for those who make more than $250,000 a year, on Monday afternoon.

“Instead of growing jobs as promised, Washington Democrats have grown the size of the national debt, the federal government and the unemployment rate,” Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell said today in a statement.

“And now the administration is calling for a massive tax hike on small businesses in the middle of a recession.

So it’s no surprise that most Americans think the country is on the wrong track and that Democrat policies have failed to do anything to fix their top concern, the economy,” he said.

“It’s time to listen to the American people, lower the deficit by reducing out-of-control spending, prevent tax hikes and work with Republicans to create the environment necessary to grow sustainable, private sector jobs.”

The Senate is scheduled to hold a cloture vote to end debate on several amendments to the small business bill on Sept. 14.

    Obamacare and November

    Posted by: Hugh Hewitt

Candidates must keep the focus on slashing the spending, stopping the tax hikes and repealing and replacing Obamacare.

All of those elements contribute to the astonishing 10 point gap favoring the GOP on the Gallup generic ballot.

Nate Silver is worried that “even if this particular Gallup survey was an outlier, it’s not unlikely that we’ll begin to see some 8-, 9-, 10-point leads for Republicans in this poll somewhat routinely once Gallup switches over to a likely voter model at some point after Labor Day

    — unless Democrats do something to get the momentum back.”

The only thing the Democrats could do to change the fundamentals is to extend the Bush tax cuts –all of them– for at least two years.

The GOP will refuse anything except full extension

    — and rightly so if the economy is to become untracked —

but would have to accept a bill holding the tax status quo until 1/1/13.

    That is it.

The one thing that would make a difference, and save a score or more of Democratic seats, and perhaps the majority?

And there isn’t a chance the Dems will do it.

(Oh, I disagree. They just might. But I doubt they’ll keep the House regardless.)

Politics of Economy May Affect Health Care Policy

Meanwhile, Republicans are attempting to leverage new unemployment and deficit statistics as proof that the health reform law is negatively affecting the economy.

GOP Lawmakers pointed to the newly released Congressional Budget Office mid-year budget outlook, which forecast a $1.3 trillion deficit in fiscal year 2010 and a $1.1 trillion deficit in FY 2011.

Sen. Judd Gregg (R-N.H.) said that the CBO outlook “underscores [that] … the current pace of U.S. spending is unaffordable and unsustainable,” adding,

One could argue the lack of respect shown Obama is just desserts for the lack of respect Obama has shown George W. Bush.

  92. blessedistruth Says:

Now, this is where I take issue with Obama’s remarks.

As the leader of the free world, America will do more than just defeat on the battlefield those who offer hatred and destruction -we will also lead among those who are willing to work together to expand freedom and opportunity for all people.

That effort must begin within our own borders.

Throughout our history, America has been willing to bear the burden of promoting liberty and human dignity overseas, understanding its link to our own liberty and security.

But we haFve also understood that our nation’s strength and influence abroad must be firmly anchored in our prosperity at home.

(I’ve been trying to make this same point since Obama took office. But it is Obama himself (along with Reid and Pelosi, most Dems and a handful of Repubs) who has made us less prosperous. An alien from outer space would have to conclude that Obama must be trying to make us less prosperous. I don’t believe that, but I can see how some would.)

And the bedrock of that prosperity must be a growing middle class.

Unfortunately, over the last decade, we have not done what is necessary to shore up the foundation of our own prosperity.

We have spent over a trillion dollars at war, often financed by borrowing from overseas.

This, in turn, has short-changed investments in our own people, and contributed to record deficits.

(Puh-lease, Obama! If Bush spent like a drunken sailor, then you are spending like a crack addict! Actually, it’s pretty amazing that Bush was able to keep deficits at a sustainable level (in terms of percent of GDP) given all of his spending. That’s because Bush grew the pie. Under Obama, we have increased spending and an ever-shrinking pie.)

For too long, we have put off tough decisions on everything from our manufacturing base to our energy policy to education reform.

As a result, too many middle class families find themselves working harder for less, while our nation’s long-term competitiveness is put at risk.

And so at this moment, as we wind down the war in Iraq, we must tackle those challenges at home with as much energy, and grit, and sense of common purpose as our men and women in uniform who have served abroad.

For the record, the state of Hawaii does not have a Secretary of State.

In Hawaii the Lieutenant Governor performs the traditional functions of a state Secretary of State.

To the best of my knowledge no Hawaii official has ever stated that they have released any birth record for Obama.

What they have done is confirm the information on the Certification of Live Birth that was released by the Obama campaign.

Obama’s original, long form, vault copy birth certificate can be released without Obama’s permission under a subpoena.

There is a chance that if the Military Judge in the Lieutenant Colonel Terry Lakin court martial is willing to bend over backwards to be fair to the defense, that judge will allow the Lakin defense to subpoena Obama’s birth records.

The exact language of Hawaii law is that a birth record can be released to “a person whose right to inspect or obtain a certified copy of the record is established by an order of a court of competent jurisdiction.” —HRS 338-18(b)(9).

    by jamese777

    To: jamese777

They have not confirmed the accuracy of the information on the Factcheck COLB, for two reasons.

    1) Hawaii law forbids them from revealing the information on the BC (HRS 338-18a) except through disclosures authorized by rules or law.

The only public announcements authorized for release is the release of index data, which Fukino and Okubo have repeatedly said consists of type of event, name, and gender.

(Although they actually violated this law by saying the birth place claimed on Obama’s BC)

    2) Hawaii law says that an amended BC has no legal evidentiary value so the State of Hawaii will not stand behind any claims made on such a BC (which Obama’s is).

Neither Fukino nor anybody else can legally say where Obama was born, when, or to whom at this point.

The amended BC has to be presented as evidence to a judicial or administrative person or body before that BC can have any greater legal status than Monopoly money.

That is a critical thing for people to understand.

If a person doesn’t understand that, they will be wrong about everything else.

The State of Hawaii has nothing that qualifies as probative for Obama, so the State of Hawaii can have absolutely NO COMMENT on what the actual facts of Obama’s birth are.

The Ground Zero Imam’s Troubling Texts

It is on this specific assertion that Rauf departs from secular democratic ideals.

Writing in Islam: A Sacred Law, What Every Muslim Should Know About Sharia, he points out the difference between the American government based on man-made law, and an Islamic system, which Allah authored:

God’s role in the explicit philosophical construct of the law makes a big difference between the modus operandi of a righteous Muslim judge in a Muslim court and a righteous Western judge in a Western court. […]

The Muslim judge explicitly “reports to God.”

The judge who sits in the Western court is only explicitly responsible to the Constitution, the interpretations of a civil law and its rules.

Rauf, then, is endorsing a theocracy in which there is no separation between religion and state.

Indeed, he goes even further in his argument, claiming that religious Sharia law must govern all aspects of human life:

[S]ince a Sharia is understood as a law with God at its center, it is not possible in principle to limit the Sharia to some aspects of human life and leave out others. […]

The sharia thus covers every field of law – public and private, national and international – together with enormous amounts of material that Westerners would not regard as law at all…

Among the fields of law Rauf claims must be governed by Sharia are laws controlling religious observances, criminal law (which, according to the Imam, “includes crimes such as murder, larceny, fornication, drinking alcohol, libel”), family law, and economic laws.

According to him it is imperative that these laws be followed by all humanity for fear of displeasing God:

…if you don’t want to be accused by God of being a depraved, disbelieving wrongdoer, you’ve got to abide by “what Allah has sent down…”

Rauf’s book also describes the punishments that must be meted out to those who disobey Sharia:

Theft, for which the punishment according to the Quranic rule is:

“As for the male thief and the female thief, cut off their hands, as a punishment for what they have earned, an exemplary punishment from Allah…”

The punishment for a fornicator, not bound by marriage, is according to the majority of jurists one hundred lashes of the whip and exile for one year.

Rauf diverges irredeemably from the core American principle separating religion and government in a secular democracy.

For all the talk of his constitutional right to build a mosque, Rauf’s writings reveal his desire to ultimately extirpate the 1st Amendment (as well as the 21st) from the Constitution.

No American, especially not self-described liberals like Maureen Dowd, should wish to see this happen.

HH: You know, I was watching Paul Begala on CNN, David Dreier, and he, this clearly scored.

Begala had to admit this was very good for John Boehner to lead the Republicans with a drumbeat demanding it.

Now the question is, will this consistently be followed through?

My hat was off this morning as soon as I saw this from Boehner for going bold and going long.

Do you expect more of the same from the leader and from Republicans across the country?

DD: Absolutely. I mean, I will tell you this is what this election is all about.

You know, the Mosque and every other distraction that people want to get off on, it’s about creating jobs, it’s about economic opportunity, it’s about our global leadership role.

And that’s why the idea of a massive tax increase without reining in spending, which is what President Obama, his team, and of course, Nancy Pelosi, who we’re all working to retire on November 2nd, are focused on.

That’s what they want to do. That’s their prescription. And it’s just beyond the pale.

We had a conference call today, Hugh, of the Republican members of the House of Representatives.

And the level of enthusiasm is so high, we are stepping out all the way across the board, Republican members of Congress, determined to do everything we can to retire Nancy Pelosi.

And you know, the one thing that we’re lacking, of course, and you talk about it regularly on your program, are the economic resources.

We’ve got, we’re doing really well. We’ve got lots of members who are working hard on it.

We’ve got lots of people across this country who are doing it.

But the National Republican Congressional Committee needs the support of everyone in your audience now, because this is the entity that is focused specifically on retiring Nancy Pelosi, and working to make John Boehner the next speaker of the House of Representatives.

HH: http://www.nrcc.org. And they’re playing offense, David.

DD: Absolutely. We’re on offense, and that’s what Pete Sessions, the chairman of our National Republican Congressional Committee says.

We’re working in these targeted races, and with the kind of sweep that it looks like, that we’ve got an opportunity, if we have the resources in those 45, 55, I mean, it could be 60, really, really targeted races that right now people are saying are long shots.

As this momentum continues, as we continue to be bold, I think we can make it happen.

John Boehner On What A Republican Congress Might Do

HH: Now what did you make of that crowd on the Mall? What did it say to you?

JB: It said to me everything that I’ve seen all year in every part of the country, that the American people are in open rebellion against their government.

HH: And is that a good thing?

JB: I think it’s a good thing. When the American people get engaged in their government, it’s the healthiest thing for our democracy.

And to see those hundreds of thousands of people on the Mall on Saturday, all it did was renew my faith in America, and renew my faith in the American people that they want change in Washington, and they want it now.

And they can have it now if they elect a Republican majority, and if they stay engaged in the process.

HH: Last question, John Boehner, last week, the White House put on its website a quote from you, from this show a few months ago when you said the stimulus hadn’t produced jobs.

I agree with you, but do you stand by that, that the stimulus has failed?

JB: Listen, I never said it wouldn’t create one job in America, all right?

But the stimulus bill has failed. The President’s economic team has failed. And they failed by their own standards.

They’re the ones who said when I sign this bill, unemployment will not exceed 8%.

And yet, we have unemployment at 9.5% nationwide, and much higher amongst African-Americans, and much higher amongst Hispanics in America.

They are the ones who said when I sign this bill, we will create jobs immediately.

And yet, nearly three million Americans have lost their jobs since this bill was signed into law.

    It has failed.

HH: Here’s a little clip of him in Australia.

FAR: We tend to forget in the West that the United States has more Muslim blood on its hands than al Qaeda has on its hands of innocent non-Muslims.

You may remember that the U.S.-led sanction against Iraq led to the death of over half a million Iraqi children.

This has been documented by the United Nations.

HH: So Nicholas Kristof, what do you think of that statement?

NK: Well, I mean, I disagree with it, but I think that Imam Feisal has often tended to get in trouble, if you will, or to attract, to raise eyebrows, because he is this kind of bridge figure.

And you know, these kinds of statements are kind of taken for granted in much of the Islamic community, and I think you know, he and a lot of people think that sanctions against Iraq had a huge human toll.

And so I think that he, you know, he believes that. I think he’s, you know, I think he’s wrong.

I think we didn’t really have very much we could do in the case of those sanctions, and we were trying to punish Saddam.

But I think that in this effort to be a bridge figure, he says some things that unite him with a Muslim audience, and it comes out very, very strongly against terror attacks against anti-Christian behavior.

And it’s this bridge behavior that tends to lead him to attract suspicion kind of from both camps.

HH: Is it Islamophobic to be concerned about statements like that?

NK: I don’t think that, I don’t think it’s Islamophobic to be concerned about statements like that, and I think it’s useful to hold, you know, Imam Feisal to account, and to hold everybody to account.

So I think that’s quite useful.

I do think, though, that there is an element of Islamophobia in some of the attacks on the mosque, and in the way Islam is presented more broadly. And…

HH: But with a minute left, is it possible, like Mayor Bloomberg finally admitted, for people to oppose the Mosque and not to be Islamophobic,

but to do so for many of the same reasons that people opposed the Disney development outside of Manassas, and the…

    NK: Yes, yes.

HH: And did you communicate that in the column, do you think?

NK: No, probably not. No, probably not. And that’s a fair thing.

Maybe I should have…you know, the reality is that in 800 words, you’re trying very hard to get your point across, and the tendency is for us to bang the tables.

Now maybe a little less banging, and a little more acknowledgment in that case would have been useful.

    7) Here is how one smart Washington observer framed things for me:

If it’s a one-year extension of all expiring tax provisions (including extenders), it would be a very smart political move for him.

He would triangulate his base and appeal to swing indies.

It also undercuts one of the main GOP arguments.

    The stock market would surge.

It’s a total no-brainer, unless you are just that ideologically-addled not to do it.

If it’s “tax relief” for non income taxpayers, or tax cuts that are so difficult to qualify for no one bothers (see: small business health insurance credit), it won’t go anywhere and he’ll get no bounce from proposing it.

If he wants to use taxes to change the dynamic (or at least blunt the wave), it needs to be bold and he needs to piss off the Congressional leadership.

A one-year extension of all expiring tax relief would probably get 230 votes in the House and 55 in the Senate.

Ask a vulnerable House Dem off the record if he would vote for that, and see how quickly he says, “you bet.”

In Desperate Bid to Stay Relevant, NAACP Chief Plays False Race Card Against Beck Supporters

… a letter was delivered to Shelton’s office on July 28, chronicling some of the racist statements made against me and other Project 21 members.

To date, there has not been a response from Shelton or anyone else at the NAACP.

That I got an overwhelmingly positive response from Tea Party supporters and the silent treatment from the NAACP is telling.

The civil rights establishment appears to have jettisoned equal rights for political gain.

It’s too bad Jealous missed Beck’s “Restoring Honor” event.

Had he attended, Jealous would not have been able to ignore the warm reception that blacks received on stage and the overarching message that restoring honor in America starts with God.

Beck’s message to Americans is that it’s the responsibility of every individual to make our country a better place, and that God put us here for a special purpose.

The principles exhibited by our Founding Fathers and the honor and mighty courage of our military personnel provide a course toward liberty.

Americans should search within themselves to determine what their talents are and how they can be applied toward restoring honor and integrity for the sake of our country.

Putting aside politics in favor of our founding principles might jeopardize the progressive agenda Jealous supports.

Our rights come from God — not man. Progressives, however, want to replace God with government.

Judging by the hundreds of thousands of Americans at the Lincoln Memorial in the sweltering August heat, this simply will not happen – not on our watch.

Obama isn’t being smart about immigration bill

    Why bother dinging Arizona?

It’s not as if the administration won any points when it made a similar miscalculation in May, when a State Department official admitted bringing up the Arizona law as a human rights issue of “discrimination or potential discrimination” – with China of all countries.

As Arizona Gov. Jan Brewer noted, this time the White House was disrespecting her state’s law to a U.N. committee whose members include infamous human rights abusers Cuba and Libya.

The report rejects any suggestion that reporting on America’s shortcomings in the human rights category equates this country’s records with those of repressive regimes.

So you see the conceit that only the left has the courage to take a hard look into America’s soul.

Except the report only takes on perceived shortcomings on the right, while trumpeting the left’s agenda on labor, health care and even the Obama economic stimulus package.

More Krikorian on the Obama administration:

“They feel morally self-righteous, and really, they don’t like Americans much.”

You see it in the State Department report, which starts out with the assertion that the world shares “universal values,” such as that “all are created equal and endowed with inalienable rights.”

But the world does not share those values.

D.C. diplomats were overly generous toward foreign thugs, while they dumped on Arizona for passing a state law to bolster duly- enacted federal immigration law.

If that tactic makes sense to you, then you’re not as smart as you think.

Sean Pearce of the Deputy Law Enforcement Association asked the board to accept the funds, saying the public wants something done about illegal immigration.

“Enough with the politics,” he said. “Stop playing games when innocent lives are at stake.

Our citizens are tired of the violence, the maiming and the numerous deaths, not to mention the financial burden caused by the lack of enforcement.

I am not here to defend the Sheriffs office and its fiscal responsibilities, but to remind you that the state legislature …

Holds sole authority to audit those funds and how they’re spent – not the Board of Supervisors.”

Last year, supervisors initially blocked the funding from going to Arpaio’s office.

That decision came one month after the Justice Department announced that the Sheriff’s Office was the subject of a civil-rights investigation into allegations that deputies discriminate.

One month later the Supervisors changed their minds and approved the funding with a 3-1 vote.

In 2008, former Gov. Janet Napolitano stripped Arpaio of the $1.6 million and redirected it to a fugitive task force.

Republican legislative leadership gave the money back to Arpaio in a budget package in early 2009.

Cirque Du Soleil decided to try something completely new on this album.

The experiment worked, but the resulting piece of music is very different from any other album in the renowned company’s discography.

Instead of hiring one or two lead female singers, the production team went with a male baritone (Richard Price, Craig Jennings) and a child soprano (Amelie Landry).

Some songs are duets, some are solo, and some are performed with the backing vocals of an entire choir.

On certain tracks, most notably “Atmadja,” the piping, sweet voice of the young female soloist is surreal and spooky in classic Cirque fashion.

However, overall the vocals do not have the exotic, wild tone of Mystere or Alegria.

A pre-pubescent singer could never claim the versatility and range of a Francine Poitras type, and, as a result, composer Benoit Jutras seems to have settled upon a more sweet, ethereal tone for the lead vocals, leaving any dramatic effects up to the male soloist or the backing choir.

Interestingly, Jutras also brings some pop sensibilities into play at rather unpredictable times: “Let Me Fall” is closer to a pop ballad than anything Cirque has ever released.

When the instruments dominate, there is a markedly more dramatic tone to the music — but eventually they hush and drop to the background, leaving the air uncluttered but for one angelic voice.
