A.D. After Disclosure — They have no plan to prepare us for contact.

After Disclosure

http://www.coasttocoastam.com/show/2010/09/19

During the first hour, historian Richard Dolan talked about his impending book, co-authored with Bryce Zabel, titled AD After Disclosure. He noted that the book was inspired by the fact that disclosure is often discussed in the UFO community, but few researchers ever go beyond that idea to contemplate “what happens next.”

Dolan was optimistic about the forecast for humanity in the event that UFO truth is revealed, but cautioned that a lot will depend on what we learn about the ETs. While he was adamant that UFO disclosure is an inevitability, Dolan was skeptical of the idea of a long-range conditioning process.

On the contrary, he said, “what I see is that they have no plan to prepare us for contact.”

Journalism tipping point: Media coverage of UFOs now serious

American Chronicle – Steve Hammons

September 29, 2010

… the recently-published book “UFOs: Generals, Pilots and Government Officials Go on the Record” by journalist Leslie Kean also raised the standard of public discourse on the topic. Kean´s book, which received good marks from respected scientists, brought objective reporting standards to the exploration of a very challenging area for journalism.

In addition, significant UFO incidents such as the 1997 “Phoenix lights” case, the 2006 O’Hare airport sightings and many similar credible reports seem to have steadily moved the ball forward on responsible news coverage.
[….]

We might get a good idea of how such a transition might play out in the book “A.D., After Disclosure: The People’s Guide to Life After Contact” by Richard Dolan and Bryce Zabel. The book is due out in October and should provide a reasonable blueprint for how we can adjust to more overt understanding of unusual visitors to Earth.

Dolan is a respected researcher on government and the UFO phenomena. Zabel is a former CNN journalist and now a film and TV writer and producer. Both should bring solid journalistic standards to this discussion.

The new NBC TV suspense series “The Event” uses episodic drama to portray such a situation, as have many other TV shows, movies, novels and works of creative fiction – or, in some cases, possibly fact-based fiction.

In the meantime, we only need read the local newspaper, turn on the TV news or scan the Web to find an increasing amount of serious, open-minded and professional journalism coverage of this interesting topic.

And, if we want to read between the lines or delve deeper into the many books, documents and historical records, there is even more to discover and consider.

Journalism will continue to play an important role in exploring the subject of UFOs and extraterrestrial visitation. The scientific, defense, intelligence and the creative film and TV communities will undoubtedly also be key contributors in helping us to grasp the truth and adjust to changes.

Eventually, many of our school books and college courses might need to be updated as new information is learned and confirmed.

These all seem to be reasonable, natural developments that might now be accompanying a safe and steady process of education and disclosure about the real possibility that we humans are not alone in this vast universe.

Twelve Government Documents That Take UFOs Seriously

Richard Dolan | Dec 21, 2009 |

http://www.openminds.tv/twelve-government-documents-that-take-ufos-seriously/

1. The 1947 Twining Memo.

For good reason, this is one of the most important UFO documents we have. On September 23, 1947, right at the beginning of the “modern” UFO era, General Nathan Twining, Head of the U.S. Air Material Command (AMC), wrote a classified letter to Air Force General George Schulgen regarding the “flying discs.”

He said the objects were “real and not visionary or fictitious.” They may possibly be natural phenomena, he wrote, such as meteors.

But:

“the reported operating characteristics such as extreme rates of climb, maneuverability (particularly in roll), and action which must be considered evasive when sighted … lend belief to the possibility that some of the objects are controlled either manually, automatically, or remotely.”

Twining listed several common descriptions of UFOs. They generally were silent, had a metallic or light reflecting surface, no trail, were circular or elliptical in shape, and often flat on the bottom. Many descriptions indicated a dome on top. Several reports indicated they flew in formation. Quite specific information, indeed.

Page three of the Twining memo

Gen. Nathan Twining, C/O of the Air Material Command at Wright Field, where Roswell debris was flown for analysis by the laboratories there.  On September 23, 1947, Twining wrote a famous Secret memo (text format) stating that the saucers were real, and urged their serious study through the cooperative effort of many government and military agencies.  (The day after Twining’s memo, Truman allegedly created the Majestic 12 group.)  Twining’s memo was prompted by Schulgen’s earlier probe, also concluding that the saucers were real.  Schulgen then requested that Twining and his command conduct a more thorough investigation.

There will be hell to pay for those who have conspired and signed onto agreements allowing for a “limited” number of abductions.

Not all ETs are guilty. And not all of our “fellow” humans are innocent.

    Karma is a bitch.

The question is not only how will we cope with disclosure.

Just like all of you who abuse illegal drugs are complicit in a terrible toll on countless lives …

so, too, those of you who mock those who are trying to get this message out are enabling the PTB who signed away our free will, all the while telling themselves they had no choice.

But they did have a choice.

    And they chose poorly.

Extraterrestrials that have entered into agreements with secret government authorities are complicit in the creation of national security system based on secrecy, unaccountability and illicit funding.

This directly threatens US. national security both in terms of a covert take-over by extraterrestrials, and an erosion of the constitutional principles upon which the U.S. is based.

The real national security threat posed by some extraterrestrial visitors is a result of the desire of the ‘secret government’ to acquire and develop extraterrestrial technologies at any cost, even if it means giving permission to a limited number of abductions.

Emma Hale Smith, like her husband, always publicly denied Smith’s polygamy.

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Joseph_Smith,_Jr.

After Smith’s death, Emma Smith quickly became alienated from Brigham Young and the church leadership, largely over property matters as it was difficult to disentangle Smith’s personal property from that of the church.

Her strong opposition to plural marriage “made her doubly troublesome.”

When most Latter Day Saints moved west, she stayed in Nauvoo, married a non-Mormon,

and withdrew from religion until 1860,

when she affiliated with what became the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints (now known as Community of Christ), which was first headed by her son, Joseph Smith III.

    http://www.cofchrist.org/

Emma never denied Joseph’s prophetic gift or her belief in the Book of Mormon.

    AND HOMOSEXUALITY

    http://www.religioustolerance.org/hom_reo.htm

The original Mormon church was organized by Joseph Smith on 1830-APR-6.

After his assassination by a mob in 1844, the church split into two groups.

One went to Utah, and retained the original church name.

The other stayed behind, and added the word “Reorganized” to their name.

The U.S. Supreme Court ruled that the RLDS was the original church group.

They changed their name to the Community of Christ in 2001-APR.

The CofC church rejects certain beliefs and practices of the Salt Lake City based LDS church, including marriage sealing for eternity.

They allow both men and women into the priesthood; their services are open to the public.

    They have about 250,000 members.

While the larger Mormon body has gradually become more homophobic, the CofC has become less so.

They recently added homosexual orientation to their anti-discrimination policy.

Gays and lesbians are welcome as members, whether celibate or not.

There are certain restrictions governing homosexuals holding various offices in the priesthood, but these policies are currently under review.

Q: Doesn’t the church already have a policy about ordaining homosexuals?

A: In 1982, the Standing High Council wrote a document.

From that document, the First Presidency created a policy that does not allow ordination of anyone (heterosexual or homosexual) involved in sexual relationships outside marriage.

The First Presidency has stated the policy of not ordaining people involved in sexual relationships outside marriage will continue until there is consent within a nation or field to recommend a new policy.

The Council of Twelve and the First Presidency must approve the new policy.

    Dr. Stan says:

Unannounced to anyone outside our Group, Dr. Dan was given an escort in Washington, DC through the innermost archives of the Masonic and Illuminati Secrets which were present at the founding of the United States of America.

At his side was Dr. Marci, the representative of her Order. Sister Amelie was also present.

She and Dr. Marci were required to keep their right hands on the center of Dr. Dan’s back throughout the tour by the old archivist.

At the conclusion, he knew the secrets that were so troubling to him throughout his entire life from 1973, when he was abducted, to present.

All his questions have been answered. All of them.

He was offered to officially join her Order as a keeper of the secrets which will best ensure the positive outcome of humanity well after all of us have lived our lives to their fulfillment.

One male must be a keeper, with the Order of females. I know of no better male than him to have been chosen.

He agreed and was given a Ring symbolizing her very ancient Order, to be worn on his left ring finger.

He took the information, in my opinion, better than the one before him.

This leads all the way back to One Man who was led by the same Order, through the virtues.

His Faith balance was, in my opinion, a great help in this regard, during this time of the Cycles Cross.

Both D and M have been returned home and are continuing their work toward the events which will be made public in the coming 2 years.

Their appearance at Ft. McDowell is still scheduled.

    ***

“during this time of the Cycles Cross”

I am not privy to any of this, so I really can’t comment.

But, according to Dr. Dan, this time of the “Cycles Cross” has to do with time travel and future humans and why disclosure hasn’t happened.

Many are fearful of a cataclysmic event in our not too distant future.

Dan says we have survived the Cycles Cross or the Cycle’s Cross.

We, collectively, are creating our future and difficult times await us.

We are not “out of danger” but collectively we have chosen a different path.

At least that is my understanding.

Prepare for the worst, but hope for the best.

Personally, I do not lend my energies to endtimes theories.

    Time ends, Time begins.

    We go on.

    There’s a place for us.

But the massive dieoff that some are expecting here on our beautiful planet.

    I’m not buying into that.

Paul Hellyer is one of Canada’s most controversial politicians and was Canada’s youngest Member of Parliament when he was first elected in 1949 and the youngest cabinet minister appointed to Louis S. St. Laurent’s government eight years later.

Although Hellyer is best known for the unification of the Canadian Armed Forces and for his 1968 chairmanship of the Task Force on Housing and Urban Development, he has maintained a life-long interest in macroeconomics.

This led him to form Action Canada, a populist movement dedicated to the concepts of full employment and low inflation with an emphasis on quality-of-life issues.

Through the years, as a journalist and political commentator, he has continued to fight for economic reforms and has written several books on the subject.

In recent years he has become interested in the extraterrestrial presence and their superior technology that we have been emulating.

In September 2005 he became the first person of cabinet rank in the G8 group of countries to state unequivocally “UFO’s are as real as the airplanes flying overhead.”

    In sum,

    by filtering the testimonies of Disclosure Project witnesses on invasive extraterrestrial activities and covert agreements;

    excluding the testimonies of whistleblowers openly describing invasive extraterrestrial behaviors;

    excluding the extensive data offered by reputable researchers of the abduction phenomenon;

ignoring the data of exo-archeologists, and

dismissing the relevance of many ‘contactee’ testimonies,

Greer is engaging in a willful attempt to distort the public conclusions concerning the true motivations and activities of the extraterrestrial visitors.

While his effort to spin data concerning extraterrestrial activities in a positive light may be perceived by some to be well intentioned,

it is in reality both naive and dangerous to distort public perceptions in this manner given the extensive data suggesting that

*** extraterrestrials have been involved in systematic human rights violations and that some government agencies have been complicit in these. ***

Based on the data I have examined in my Exopolitics research, I have arrived at the conclusion that extraterrestrials are as varied as humans in terms of their motivations and interactions with humanity.

Some extraterrestrials are highly ethical and principled as Dr Greer contends.

I have pointed out in a number of my research papers that many extraterrestrial groups are advanced evolved beings genuinely wishing to assist humanity in its evolution, and

have not entered into covert agreements with government agencies where they believe advanced extraterrestrial technology will be misused by irresponsible government agencies.

These extraterrestrials appear to be in the majority which would replicate the social dynamics of human societies where a majority a citizens are law abiding.

In “The Abduction Phenomenon and its implications for Disclosure,” Philippa Foster believes that advocates and students of exopolitics

“will have to be prepared to face all aspects of the Extraterrestrial phenomenon:

    – from the wonderfully enriching Contact scenarios and the benefits that come with that, all the way through to the disturbing ET Abductions and MILABs (alleged Military Abduction) programs.”

She argues that in “order to successfully adjust to this huge cultural shift, people will need to know the whole truth, even if it is not always palatable, and

there should be support mechanisms in place for those who need it.”

Her “article explores how we can benefit from decades of research by scientific, medical and academic professionals within UFOlogy, in conjunction with numerous first hand accounts from experiencers themselves.”

The goal is to prepare for any potential ‘fall-out’ from Disclosure, and to enable humanity to forge a strong and rewarding future into the Cosmos.

Do you love me? Do you love me?
Do you love me? Do you love me?

In my bed she cast the blizzard out
A mock sun blazed upon her head
So completely filled with light she was
Her shadow fanged and hairy and mad
    Our love-lines grew hopelessly tangled
And the bells from the chapel went jingle-jangle

Do you love me? Do you love me?
Do you love me? Do you love me?
Do you love me? Do you love me?
Do you love me? Like I love you?

She had a heartful of love and devotion
She had a mindful of tyranny and terror
Well, I try, I do, I really try
But I just err, baby, I do, I error
So come find me, my darling one
I’m down to the grounds, the very dregs
Ah, here she comes, blocking the sun
Blood running down the inside of her legs
The moon in the sky is battered and mangled
bAnd the bells from the chapel go jingle-jangle

Do you love me? Do you love me?
Do you love me? Do you love me?
Do you love me? Do you love me?
Do you love me? Like I love you?

All things move toward their end
I knew before I met her that I would lose her
I swear I made every effort to be good to her
I made every effort not to abuse her
Crazy bracelets on her wrists and her ankles
And the bells from the chapel go jingle-jangle

U.S., EU elitists push for single common political authority

    ——————————————————————————–
    Posted: October 03, 2010

    http://www.wnd.com/index.php?fa=PAGE.view&pageId=211325

Upon studying the 69-page document, Corsi noted the conclusion is inescapable that the U.S. and EU intelligence apparatus is setting the stage for one-world government by 2025.

    Click to access 2025_Global_Governance.pdf

“Interdependence has been a feature of economic globalization for many years, but the rise of China, India, Brazil, and other fast-growing economies has taken economic interdependence to a new level,” the document states.

“The multiple links among climate change and resource issues; the economic crisis; and state fragility – ‘hubs’ of risks for the future – illustrate the interconnected nature of challenges on the international agenda today.”

“The words in bold in the above paragraph were printed in bold in the document, evidently so the reader did not lose sight of the point that we are all tied together in a common globe in which nation states are not to be taken as the primary unit of analysis,” Corsi wrote.

“So, in addition to free trade and a global economy, the U.S. and EU intelligence apparatus sees virtually every other major public policy issue as a reason for global governance, not as an arena in which individual nation states bear the responsibility for solutions particular to their sovereign people.”

He noted that any crisis – for instance a starvation crisis in Africa, or a flu epidemic in Canada – would be taken as international catastrophe requiring a global governance solution.

The “war” between Islam and Christianity can be won by anyone, religious scholar Reza Aslan argues.

    http://tinyurl.com/2c3ldjb

„Tijd lost het conflict op. “Time solves the conflict.

Misschien gaat er een generatie overheen, maar dan ligt alles weer achter ons.”

Maybe there is one generation, but then everything behind us. ”

De strijd tegen terrorisme is in werkelijkheid een kosmische oorlog, betoogt de Iraans-Amerikaanse journalist en godsdienstwetenschapper Reza Aslan.

The fight against terrorism is in reality a cosmic war, claims the Iranian-American journalist and religious scholar Reza Aslan.

Hij gaf deze week in Nederland een viertal lezingen over de vraag hoe de strijd tussen de islam en het christendom kan worden gewonnen.

He gave this week in the Netherlands four lectures on how the struggle between Islam and Christianity can be extracted.

    [….]

One of the easiest ways to give yourself an identity is to see yourself as different from one another – “I’m not like you.”

„Mensen hebben het altijd nodig gehad om zich af te zetten tegen ‘de ander’”, zegt Aslan.

“People have always needed it to themselves to react against ‘the other'” said Aslan.

„Eerder waren het de Joden, nu zijn de moslims en na de moslims zal er weer een andere groep komen.”

“Earlier it was the Jews, now the Muslims and the Muslims after there will be another group coming.”

Politici gebruiken volgens Aslan de angst voor moslims om hun politiek door te voeren.

Politicians use fear of Muslims Aslan according to their policies to take effect.

„Er is geen enkele hoeveelheid informatie die je iemand als Geert Wilders over de islam kan geven waardoor hij zijn standpunt over moslims zal wijzigen.”

“There is no amount of information that someone like Geert Wilders on Islam so he can give his views on Muslims will change.”

„Extremisme roept extremisme op”, meent Aslan.

“Extremism calls to extremism,” said Aslan.

Mensen beseffen niet langer dat van de 1,5 miljard moslims op de wereld slechts een fractie djihadist is.

People no longer realize that the 1.5 billion Muslims in the world is only a fraction of jihadists.

„Er bestaat niet zoiets als dé moslim, net zo min als dé christen bestaat”, benadrukt hij.

“There is no such thing as a Muslim, just as the Christian is,” he adds.

„Bovendien vergeten veel mensen dat er niet alleen moslims zijn die een staat willen vormen op basis van religieuze wetten.

“What many people forget that not only Muslims who want to form a state based on religious laws.

Een derde van de Amerikanen ziet zichzelf als ‘christianist’, wat betekent dat ze graag zouden zien dat de wetgeving gebaseerd wordt op de Bijbel.”

One third of Americans see themselves as’ christianist, meaning that they would like to see legislation based on the Bible. ”

De enige manier waarop er een einde kan komen aan de angst voor moslims is door met hen in contact te komen.

The only way it can end the fear of Muslims is in contact with them.

Aslan: „Het gaat niet om kennis, het gaat om relaties.

Aslan: “It is not knowledge, it’s about relationships.

Door ontmoetingen met moslims kan er een brug worden geslagen.

Through encounters with Muslims can a bridge be beaten.

De denkbeelden van mensen over de islam zullen daarmee niet noodzakelijk veranderen.

The ideas of people about Islam, will not necessarily change.

Maar intuïtief kunnen mensen aanvoelen dat deze moslim is zoals zij zelf zijn; mensen die een leven willen leiden, dromen hebben, werken, slapen en eten.”

But intuitively, people sense that they are Muslims like themselves, people who want to live, dreams, work, sleep and eat. ”

‘Daarnaast is het belangrijk om de democratische hervormingen te ondersteunen in islamitische landen’, schrijft Aslan.

“It is important to democratic reform in Muslim countries,” Aslan writes.

    [….]

If Islamic parties the opportunity to make their voices heard in politics is likely to abandon their extremism, he says.

„De AKP in Turkije is daar een voorbeeld van, net als de Moslimbroederschap in Egypte.”

“The AKP in Turkey is an example of, like the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt.”

De kosmische oorlog kan niet worden gewonnen.

The cosmic war can not be won.

Het lijkt er volgens de godsdienstwetenschapper op dat de mensheid hem moet uitzitten.

It seems the religion scholar that he should serve humanity.

„Tijd lost het conflict op”, beaamt Aslan.

“Time solves the conflict”, says Aslan.

Wat er in de tussentijd zal plaatsvinden is ‘beangstigend’, maar niet noodzakelijk catastrofaal.

What happened in the meantime will take place is “frightening”, but not necessarily catastrophic.

„Misschien gaat er een generatie overheen, of misschien twee, maar dan ligt dit alles weer achter ons.”

“Perhaps there is one generation, or perhaps two, but then all this behind us.”

    Not true.

And don’t forget there are Muslim American groups fighting “sharia creep” and believing in the separation of church and mosque.

House GOP Number Three Mike Pence On Earmarks

    http://hughhewitt.com/transcripts.aspx?id=3629cdd2-6262-47cf-9cf8-061d7fac75af

HH: Now Congressman, I appreciate that you’ll come on here, like Campbell and Dreier and Paul Ryan yesterday, and letting me ask you the tough question.

But I must have, if I’ve got ten, I’ve got a hundred emails. I don’t trust them. See?

The first time they get together, the very first thing they do is protect their ability to do earmarks, and they’ll double-cross us like they did before.

And further, Mike Pence, even if they don’t intend to do that, they’re so blinking tone deaf to the country, how could they possibly not ban earmarks?

Are they that tone deaf? How do you respond?

MP: Well, look, I understand the frustration. I don’t think Republicans lost their majority in 2006.

I think Republicans lost their way.

I think, you know, Republicans in Congress walked away from the practice and the principles that minted our governing majority in 1994, and the American people walked away from us.

So look, I get it. I get the cynicism.

It’s well-deserved, but my hope is that should Republicans be given the opportunity to lead the Congress again,

that the determination that we’ve shown in opposing Obamacare, unanimously, opposing the stimulus bill unanimously, fighting against their big government plans and spending,

will also be exactly what people see on spending reform and discipline in large ways and in small ways.

Look, we’re going to end earmarking as we know it.

    HH: Oh…

MP: And people are going to judge this Congress in short order if Republicans are given the opportunity to lead again, and I like our chances.

I think Republicans in Congress get it, and more importantly, Hugh,

the generation of men and women that are running for Congress all over this country,

I’m going to be campaigning with Van Tran this afternoon,

are going to hit Washington, D.C. and be a real catalyst for change

in the way we spend the money, in tax and pro-growth policy, in values, in security, and

we have a real opportunity for transformational change.

    ***

    “a real catalyst for change”

“a real opportunity for transformational change”

This is EXACTLY what we heard from Obama.

    It’s meaningless.

I can only speak for myself, but I’m guessing many if not most Americans are tired of slogans.

What happened to Obama’s bank tax?

    http://blogs.reuters.com/james-pethokoukis/2010/10/05/what-happened-to-obamas-bank-tax/

In any case, the original concept was designed as a way to recoup losses on the bank bailout.

The latest estimates scaled those back dramatically to less than $50 billion.

The tax received a second life as a way to help pay for various expiring tax cuts for individuals.

But Congress didn’t get around to acting on those.

Lawmakers might yet move during the upcoming “lame duck” session, making big banks nervous.

If Congress wants to pay for various tax cuts, nicking Wall Street and other banks would be one way to do it.

    It’s a long shot.

But not long enough to keep America’s community bankers from firing off a fresh letter on Friday opposing any bank levy or fee.

Although Republicans loathe the idea, the government remains on the hook for $150 billion of aid to Fannie and Freddie.

When Washington gets around to figuring out what do with those troubled enterprises – probably after the 2012 election – the bank tax may reemerge as a way of covering losses.

Maybe it isn’t so much dead as it is in suspended animation.

Which one offers hope for America’s future by understanding its past and honoring its traditions?

One of the most amazing things about 8.28, and I saw reporters that went. One reporter said he walked from this corner over to this corner by the Mall or by the — or by the ellipse. He said he walked the entire space and he couldn’t find a single spot of paper. It was left spotless after the event.

Here we are and we’re talking about half a million people out in the sun and virtually nothing left behind.

Western senators back bill to kill wolf protections

    http://powelltribune.com/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=3752&Itemid=58

However, lawmakers are split along party lines over which states should be allowed to hunt wolves.

A measure introduced by Sens. Max Baucus and Jon Tester, Montana Democrats, would leave wolves endangered in Wyoming, which has a shoot-on-sight law for wolves across most of the state.

“If Wyoming doesn’t want to put forward a management plan that works, that’s Wyoming’s fault,” Baucus said.

Tester said Wyoming “hasn’t wanted to play” and suggested that Montana could not wait for its southern neighbor to change its mind given ongoing livestock losses from wolf attacks.

Enzi believes the state of Wyoming can manage wolves effectively and maintain the canine’s population objectives, thus preventing its return to endangered status, Pickett said.

Introducing the bill now has nothing to do with the mid-term election just around the corner. Enzi wants to get the wolf issue resolved, Pickett said.

None of the senators introducing the bill are up for election this year, Lawrimore said.

However, with the mid-terms a month away, this may not be the best time of year to pass the bill, Pickett said.

“Senator Barrasso will continue to fight for this bill,” Lawrimore said.

“This election is largely about Democrats, and all Republicans really need is one or two talking points,” said Merle Black, an expert on Southern politics at Emory University in Atlanta.

    They’ve got them.

Point one: President Barack Obama is a political liability in conservative areas, including swing states such as Ohio and Indiana.

“The more he campaigns, the more people remember what they don’t like,” said Sen. John Cornyn of Texas, the Republican Senate campaign chief.

Point two: “Voters are ready for people who want to control spending,” said Sen. Judd Gregg, R-N.H., and that’s perhaps the tea party’s most passionate goal.

“The tea party people have been out for a year now, going to rallies and knocking on doors,” said Brad Coker, the managing director of Mason-Dixon Polling & Research, who polls throughout the country.

“I don’t think they’re going to go away.”

Helping the tea party’s push is the Republican establishment, which in most states moved quickly to embrace the tea party candidates.

    ‘The Honesty Caucus’

As I write today, there are Republicans out there willing, in general terms, to talk about scaling back entitlements.

They’re the “honesty caucus,” and, of course, are getting savaged by members of the “dishonesty caucus,” e.g. see Charlie Crist today.

We’re seeing the first round of next year’s budget battle right now.

If Democrats can demonstrably take down a Republican or two on Social Security

–a Rand Paul, Marco Rubio, or Ron Johnson–

it’ll make Republicans that much more nervous about touching entitlements if they take the House.

This is ticklish business and it’s why the position of Republican budget-cutters at the federal level is much more inherently difficult than that of a Mitch Daniels or Chris Christie, commendable though those governors are.

To reduce the federal government, Republicans have to take on sacrosanct programs that the public doesn’t naturally trust them to handle, against a tide of demagoguery that has a nearly perfect track record of working in the past.

It makes the honesty of Rand Paul et al all the more praiseworthy.

Tea-party candidates will help Congress face the problem of entitlement spending.

    http://www.nationalreview.com/articles/248728/honesty-caucus-rich-lowry

Next year, a cadre of Republicans who grabbed the third rail of American politics, and in some cases jumped up on it and danced a jig, is going to show up in Washington.

In Florida, where 17.2 percent of the population is 65 or older (national average: 12.9 percent), Republican Marco Rubio has talked of raising the retirement age for Social Security and reducing the growth of benefits.

Together with their intellectual patron, Wisconsin representative Paul Ryan, these Republicans will be an oasis of forthrightness about the entitlement crisis and reliable votes to address it.

For this reason alone, they’ll be a credit to the nation’s political debate.

Greatest Hits was Phil Ochs’ seventh LP and final studio album.

Contrary to its title, it offered ten new tracks of material, mostly produced by Van Dyke Parks, and was released in 1970.

Focusing more on country music than any other album in Ochs’ canon, it featured an impressive number of musicians, including members of The Byrds and Elvis Presley’s backing group alongside mainstays Lincoln Mayorga and Bob Rafkin.

His lyrics were at their most self-referential.

    All songs by Phil Ochs.

    1.”One Way Ticket Home” – 2:40
    2.”Jim Dean of Indiana” – 5:05
    3.”My Kingdom For A Car” – 2:53
    4.”Boy In Ohio” – 3:43

    8.”Bach, Beethoven, Mozart and Me” – 5:05

Developing a Deterrent to Invasions of Privacy

    http://www.gaypatriot.net/2010/10/04/developing-a-deterrent-to-invasions-of-privacy/

Earlier today, I received an e-mail from the folks at California Faith for Equality (CFE) urging people, among other things, to

“Organize . . . turn your anger and grief into actions to improve anti-bullying practices in local classrooms, campuses and transform our congregations into accessible networks of safe spaces.”

While well-meaning, I’m not sure such practices will make much of a difference.

That said, creating an “accessible network of safe spaces” could well help young people looking for support.

It seems that the “gay rights’ paradigm” involves pushing for new laws or policies every time we hear of a terrible story like that which took place last month in New Jersey.

But, when there are laws on the books punishing such crimes, it’s time we consider other means to respond to such situations.

Laws aren’t always the answer. To their credit, the folks at CFE do not limit themselves to proposing new policies.

Perhaps, we can learn from history.

If instead of relying on a treaty banning war, the United States, United Kingdom and France and worked hard developing a deterrent, they would not have faced German belligerence in the 1930s.

So, now the only question is determining an appropriate deterrent against bullying and invasions of privacy.

    “an appropriate deterrent” ?

    I’m all ears.

Archdiocese: Communion too sacred to be used as protest

    http://minnesota.publicradio.org/display/web/2010/10/06/denied-communion/

A spokesman for the Twin Cities archdiocese said Tuesday that Catholics should expect to be denied communion if they are wearing rainbow buttons or ribbons at church to support gays and lesbians.

The remarks come 10 days after Twin Cities Archbishop John Nienstedt refused communion to about 20 people wearing rainbow buttons and ribbons at a mass at St. John’s Abbey in Collegeville, Minn.

McGrath said while Catholic doctrine teaches that anybody can seek communion, priests can refuse to provide it under certain circumstances.

    ***

As a Catholic I am really offended by this.

I believe in the miracle of the Holy Eucharist, and for this priest to deny this miracle to anyone under any circumstances has got to be a sin.

This is why I am such a bad Catholic.

I could never accept the authority of a priest.

    Luke 22:19

And he took bread, gave thanks and broke it, and gave it to them, saying, “This is my body given for you; do this in remembrance of me.”

He didn’t say do this in remembrance of me unless a priest 2000 years from now takes offence.

    (END VIDEO CLIP)

BECK: “For purposes of fairness” — at the expense of common sense fiscal policy, but fairness.

In other words, who cares what actually works, I’m just leveling the playing field.

And why is it he never mentioned that — you know, why is it never mentioned that the people who employ people, the small business owner who makes $250,000 or more?

That’s who’s putting America to work — 70 percent of all jobs are created by these people in America.

It is the medium-size business and yes, big businesses owned by those evil multi-millionaires.

Microsoft employs 89,000 people worldwide. We’ve told you before — tens of thousands of millionaires come from Microsoft, their employees.

Microsoft’s billionaire owner, Bill Gates, has given billions of dollars to charity of his own free will.

As evil as Exxon-Mobil is supposedly to listen to the progressives, it employs nearly 81,000 people.

Huntsman Chemical has over 11,000 employees.

And as I have mentioned numerous times, Jon Huntsman, Sr., a very good friend of mine, has donated $1.8 billion to charity out of his own personal cash.

He’s going to die broke because he chooses to.

The rich are not the enemy. They never have been in America. They are the employers. And in many cases, they are the philanthropists.

Who was it that built all the first libraries and hospitals? The poor people?

It is the people that become rich in America that help us survive and thrive.

That doesn’t mean all rich people are good guys, but it certainly doesn’t mean all rich people are bad guys.

Rich people, poor people, are just people.

But back to Goolsbee and his lesson:

    (BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

GOOLSBEE: And so what’s happening in Congress is that the people that want this are saying nobody here can get any of these tax cuts

unless we agree to give this big, red goose egg to the people making more than a million dollars a year.

It doesn’t make any sense, it costs too much money and we know it doesn’t work.

    (END VIDEO CLIP)

BECK: All of it — this is just not insulting, it is a lie.

I mean, when are people going to wake up to the lies?

Extending the Bush tax cut cost nothing extra. It has been proven over and over again that tax cuts do work. They stimulate the economy.

Not tax cuts and spending — that leads to debt.

Not only that, but the Democrats in Congress haven’t even submitted a piece of legislation on this for the Republicans to hold up.

Yes, the Republicans want the Bush tax cuts extended for everyone.

But they’re not holding up anything because there’s nothing that has moved forward to hold up.

    It’s a game. You’re being played again.

The bottom line is you can put this presentation on a whiteboard or a blackboard or you can put it on billboards.

You can put it on — you can put it on a pool hall table. It doesn’t matter.

*** It doesn’t change the fact that it is the same old class warfare and it is a lie. ***

They have no problem putting up their top economic adviser telling you

    that your money is theirs,

that you have no right to it and

that a proven economic reality is fiction.

Fortunately we all have kids, like mine. And hopefully, we’re all parents that teach our kids that somebody else’s toys are not theirs.

The 9th circuit court of appeals is allowing Mexico and ten other Latin American countries to present their views on those parts of the law that are on hold.

Brewer argues their opinions have no bearing on whether the law is constitutional.

Brewer, who has vowed to take the case to the Supreme Court, appealed the decision to the 9th Circuit Court, which will begin hearing arguments in San Francisco on Nov. 1, one day before the midterm elections.

The Arizona law is a top political issue nationally.

Cities from San Francisco and Seattle to Baltimore have joined a friend of the court brief opposing the Arizona law, while 11 states — including Texas, Florida and Nebraska — filed an amicus brief backing the law.

In July, more than 80 Republican members of Congress signed their names to an amicus brief filed by the conservative Immigration Reform Caucus.

They included Sens. Jim DeMint of South Carolina, David Vitter of Louisiana and John Barrasso of Wyoming, and Reps. Lamar Smith of Texas, Steve King of Iowa and Trent Franks of Arizona.

Brewer’s motion should resonate among conservative legal scholars worried about giving foreign legal systems a voice in American jurisprudence.

Fascinating article that presents the Burisch material in an easily accessible succinct way. The graphics are an incredible contribution.

For those of us who have long followed the Burisch case with interest, I’d like to know if Michael Schratt came up with any corroborating information and/or documentation.

For example, did Dan’s mother and/or father describe the Ph.D. that was framed and hung?

Were any of the teachers who identified Daniel as a brilliant microbiologist at an early age, interviewed, etc., to confirm his prodigy status.

Dan’s story is well known, but documentation beyond what Bill Hamilton has been able to compile in his Project Aquarius book has been elusive.

Your contribution to confirming some of Dan’s background/credentials will go a long way to making the corpus of his information more palatable to a skeptical public.

    Mon Oct 04, 2010 9:17 pm

At the risk of over-simplifying the bamboozling going on with this, the point you are making is that the alleged STS zetas

(as embodied by Chi’el’ah, the J-rod zetan)

    claimed in their bamboozling instruments

that there were TWO distinctly different ‘events’ of a geopolar nature –

one that would be created artificially with stargates and was thus changeable,

and one of an ‘environmental’ nature that was immutable.

But actually, not really…..if the humans would only get their act together and pray in solidarity and unison, at which point they could alter a timeline

(and thus potentially wiping out the existence of the entire J-rod race).

Big Dick n’ Dadmiral might have taunted Dan Burisch that they had to build an Ark

“just in case humanity ended up sucking so bad that unfortunately only the ‘special ones’ – i.e. those in the secret elite societies and positions of power – would be able to ‘survive’ such a scenario.”

Naturally Dan would have played the righteous apologist for the Common Man

and demanded (and ‘received’, lol!) the opportunity to prove the Maji wrong for their arrogance.

Yes, Selene, I do believe that is more or less the impression STS ET gave the Maji, and they used to buy into it, like they bought the idea of huge underground cities,

until they figured out they were being continually played for fools by these ETs.

pausing to make sure I don’t lose this…..

(I like the way you put that MT7, about the fallen or risen angels….the ‘destiny’ of such a message would be similar in intent to what I’ve echoed about a schoolhouse, battlefield, proving ground, etc)

Did I miss something or is the table of bullet points about the DCTP provided by “WM” devoid of exactly WHAT it is that is “suggesting” these many points?

“The DCTP suggests that….” Excuse me? Is this a ‘thing’, like the big black cube in Mecca that is the holy shrine of Islam?

Is it a holographic device, a piece of hardware?

Or a combination of hardware and ‘software’ that can be accessed either through the usual audio and visual methods, or something else entirely?

A ‘user’s guide’ to the original ‘YellowBook’, or ‘Orion’s Cube’?

Here I thought the rules to Dodeccamente were hard; what if the DCTP is the rulebook for hitchhiking the galaxy?

Does the number 42 show up anywhere other than once, in the sequence?

Or maybe the DCTP is an oracle uttering “ughs” and “aarghs”, that some bright-bulb in the ranks of Majestic employees finally cracked a key in translating,

a “Rosetta Stone” of the future

    ……

does the oracle then “suggest” by, say, ‘gently whispering’ or ‘firmly intoning’?

How exactly does the “suggesting” sound, or is it suggestive more by visual displays? Or a combination?

Something like the Wizard of Oz, perhaps?

I think the J-rod zetas had no choice but to admit to the poleshift that their STO ‘brethren’ were busy explaining to the Maji,

who had access to the ancient parchments

that had been carefully secreted from the publics’ eyes

by the forces of the Vatican and so already knew of such a cyclical event.

That didn’t mean it couldn’t co-exist, as you suggest, with yet another near-ELE event,

one that THEY could define as they wished, so long as they showed some kind of logic or ‘proof’ for their claims.

(It’s hard for me to criticize “channeled” information. Given that I’m such a huge fan of Edgar Cayce. And I’m sticking with him. But I’m leery because EVEN IF the channel is truly receiving information from the great beyond … and EVEN IF the Source is good and Godly … how to know where the Giver ends and the Receiver begins? And let’s face it, if you were on the receiving end of these transmissions, it would have to make you a little nuts. And nuttier over time.)

    Glenn Beck vs Fabian Socialism

    http://www.rightpundits.com/?p=7394

This week, Glenn Beck of the Fox News Channel is taking on Fabian Socialism.

Glenn Beck begins with the origin of the Fabian Society is 1884 when intellectual elites in London, England banded together to spread a different form of Marxism known as Gradualism.

The Fabians took their name from the Roman general, Quintus Fabius Maximus, famous for his strategy of harassment and attrition.

The Fabians selected for a logo a turtle, a slow moving creature with the moto “When I Strike, I Strike Hard”.

For their emblem, the Fabians chose a shield bearing a wolf in sheep’s clothing.

This provides us with insight as to how they think and operate.

    ***

    “strategy of harassment and attrition”

    There’s a word — is it synchronicity?

Anyway, it’s when a person, place or thing keeps popping up all over the place and all at once it would seem.

    synchronicity (ˌsɪnkrəˈnɪsɪtɪ)

    — n
an apparently meaningful coincidence in time of two or more similar or identical events that are causally unrelated

[C20: coined by Carl Jung from synchronic + -ity ]

Anyway, that’s what’s been happening to me lately.

For me, it’s a word. And the word is “harassment.”

And there it was again last night on Glenn Beck’s blackboard.

Is someone trying to tell me something?

God Willing, the GOP will win back the House.

But that won’t stop the left.

    By Victor Davis Hanson

Only a headline crisis could rally Americans around their now-unpopular commander in chief and his beleaguered supporters in Congress.

    What would that entail?

Most probably something like a showdown with soon-to-be-nuclear and widely despised Iran.

Obama ran on criticism of the Bush administration that it had not reached out and talked with Iran’s theocratic leadership. Obama did that.

He even muted criticism of the brutal Iranian crackdown on pro-democracy demonstrations.

But Obama soon found that the Iranians considered his outreach appeasement, and so have only increased their breakneck efforts to get a bomb.

Now, everyone from the Israelis to the Sunni Arab nations is pressuring the United States to do something before a radical and nuclear Iran changes the complexion of the entire Middle East.

If the erstwhile peace candidate Barack Obama were to confront Iran, conservatives might well support his resolve.

Democratic candidates would find a more united nation suddenly far more worried about Mideast Armageddon than unemployment and record deficits.

But Iran won’t go nuclear in the next two months.

So let us hope that the current unpopular administration waits for a while before deciding between the rotten choice of using military force against Tehran and the even worse alternative of a nuclear Iran.

    ***

Hasn’t Obama already made his choice on this?

Resigned to Iran getting the bomb.

And containing Iran’s bomb with our “nuclear umbrella.”

    To make his thesis work

    – namely that Barack Obama “embraced his father’s ideals and decided to live out the script of his father’s unfulfilled life” –

D’Souza must ignore two nuggets unearthed in the pages of WorldNetDaily.

The first of these – and kudos here to Jerome Corsi – involves Obama’s early life.

The second involves the authorship of Obama’s celebrated 1995 memoir, “Dreams from My Father.”

    This is my own bailiwick.

    [….]

As Corsi has proved on these pages, Ann enrolled for night classes at the University of Washington, which began on Aug. 19, 1961, just 15 days after the presumed date of Obama’s birth.

In June 1962, while Ann and her 10-month-old baby were still in Seattle, Barack Sr. left for a grand tour of mainland universities on his triumphant way to Harvard.

The Honolulu Advertiser did a story on the same.

In short, the little Obama family never lived together.

It is likely that Ann and Barack Sr. never really dated, let alone married in any meaningful way.

It is less likely, though possible, that Barack Sr. was not the real biological father.

D’Souza buries the verifiable and fails to explore the possible.

All of it challenges his thesis.

    Muslims: Moderation a key

    http://jacksonville.com/opinion/editorials/2010-10-07/story/muslims-moderation-key

FrontPage magazine held a symposium on the subject of moderate Islam last May.

One of the participants was M. Zuhdi Jasser, a physician who has written opinion columns for this newspaper.

He is president and founder of the Islamic Forum for Democracy.

    Some quotes from Jasser:

    – “To pigeonhole many Muslims into one theological construct is misleading given the lack of any Islamic mandate for a ‘church’ which communicates or excommunicates Sunni members.

    – “I do believe that it is a majority, if not a significant plurality of Muslims, that reject political Islam.”

    – “To dismiss all of Islam as immoderate leaves without a platform your greatest allies for freedom – devotional anti-Islamist Muslims who worship God. We are the only ones with a tangible viable solution that will achieve the defeat of supremacist, radical Islamism.”

    – “The solution forward must come from America’s safer laboratory. Many American Muslims understand how a nation can be free and pious without theological coercion from government.”

The United States has shown that true believers of Islam can be full participants in our political system.

This is the moderate solution that fits into the American ideal.

(I’m so glad Jasser getting the recognition he deserves.)

Here is what James Carville and Stan Greenberg want Democrats to say about trade to voters:

My passion is “made in America,” working to support small businesses, American companies and new American industries.

(REPUBLICAN HOUSE CANDIDATE) has pledged to support the free trade agreements with Colombia, Panama, and South Korea and protect the loophole for companies outsourcing American jobs.

I have a different approach to give tax breaks for small businesses that hire workers and give tax subsidies for companies that create jobs right here in America.

James Lee is the man who stormed the Discovery Channel’s offices in Maryland and threatened to kill everybody there because the channel wasn’t doing enough to help the environment.

One of the crticisms was apparently that Discovery doesn’t advocate abortion enough.

Well, Discovery is trying to make up for that.

    Excerpt

“In the summer of 1864–immediately after the National Convention at which Mr. Lincoln was nominated the second time; I asked him, one day, in a private conversation, what precisely, was his idea of that greatness, on the part of Grant, as a commander–which seemed to have impressed him, so very deeply.

After a moment’s hesitation, he said:

‘Nothing could persuade this man, that he was whipped–till he was actually whipped:

he could never be made to believe, even under a complete surprise, that fifty men were five hundred:

    he had as much sense and as complete possessession [sic] of his faculties, when suddenly waked up under attack, as when he plans & leads the attack;

in the very crisis of the greatest battle, his senses, his faculties, his knowledge–are as much under his full & instant power of use, as under any other circumstances.

And then Mr. Lincoln illustrated, by various great & striking circumstance–these great qualities of Grant–which mustered into professional language–explains so large a part of the grand career he has run–and so large a part of our hopes, for the career still, as I trust, before him.

[pg. 3]”Great executive talents, are the rarest of all–and are the most fruitful & the most important of all–in high stations.

*** Good men, in high station–good I mean, even after the standard of nature simply–are not too common. ***

After comparing gays to KKK, WND’s Farah denies making “rash charges”

    http://mediamatters.org/blog/201010050036

WorldNetDaily editor Joseph Farah continues his attacks on Ann Coulter — Ann Coulter! — for “weakening of the resolve within the conservative movement” by speaking at GOProud’s Homocon event:

    [….]

Did you ever think you’d see the day when Ann Coulter was criticized for being insufficiently hardline?

Farah also claims that his previous criticism of Coulter came “without any invective, any rash charges or ad hominem attacks.”

Oh, really? Last week, Farah suggested that gays are worse than the Ku Klux Klan.

    “Here’s what I think of Farah’s position: It’s poison.”

Palin on Dr. Laura; Coulter v. Farah

    http://minx.cc/?post=304871

    4. You may disagree with this, but I personally consider Ann Coulter to be very conservative on almost all issues, and I feel she occupies generally the most conservative position prudent in conventional politics, anyway.

She isn’t exactly super-traditionalist in her personal lifestyle decisions, but as a general matter she occupies the furthest-possible-acceptable-rightist position out there.

Maybe she likes her gays. Okay, maybe she does.

But to me, if Ann Coulter is saying that you can’t simply purge gays from your party (or your movement, or your circle of social acquaintances), then really, doing so is unacceptably fringe.

If your beliefs lead you to the conclusion that Ann Coulter is too damn liberal, then I really think you either need to reexamine your first principles, or consider maybe you’re not really engaged in politics at all, that actual politics are not truly your interest.

Something related to politics, a cousin of politics, perhaps; perhaps political philosophy, perhaps metaphysics, perhaps simply religion.

But if Ann Coulter is a licentious liberal in your eyes, you are not close enough to the Overton Window to fire through it with a sniper rifle.

Anyway: Coulter blasted Farah as a self-serving “publicity whore.”

An unchanged unemployment rate of 9.6 percent.

Private companies added 64,000 new jobs in September

    but 159,000 government layoffs

meant a net loss of U.S. jobs.

It was the fourth straight month of net losses attributed to declining government payrolls and little hiring in the private sector.

A total of 77,000 temporary jobs for the decennial census were terminated last month, according to the Labor Department’s monthly report released Friday.

On top of that local governments cut 76,000 jobs in September, mostly in the education sector.

State government job losses made up the rest.

The jobless rate has now topped 9.5 percent for 14 straight months, the longest stretch since the 1930s.

Not nearly enough. But in any given period when the private sector is growing and the public sector is getting smaller, for me that’s a good thing.

If only the private sector were growing enough so these public sector workers who’ve lost their jobs could find work with a “private” company.

It just kills me when I think about how much money and time we’ve wasted.

Mark Steyn’s Christmas list – lesbian awards, Humpty Dumpty and a different breed of cat

    http://hughhewitt.com/transcripts.aspx?id=1b8dfa54-7f77-438d-b0a5-b17ae056ef60

    Excerpts

HH: But there are going to be some good days this month, Mark, and I want to ask you about what your sense is from the great North woods, of the political momentum right now,

because it’s one of two ways, and I’ll ask everyone today, Barone and the Young Guns and everyone else, does this, because of the size of the Republican lead in the polls, do Democrats begin to rush out?

And if they do, are they like Wile E. Coyote in front of the snowball coming down the hill?

MS: I think at this stage, it’s very hard to rally Democrats, because I think a lot of them recognize, I think a lot of them are actually ashamed of what happened in 2008.

it’s fascinating to me, I was driving earlier today through a little liberal enclave of New Hampshire.

And I do not recall in any electoral cycle seeing so few Democratic Party signs.

I mean normally, the Democrats in that particular town outnumber the Republican candidate signs very considerably.

The Democrat signs are conspicuous by their absence. And I think people understand that they were taken for a ride in 2008.

I saw this ridiculous video on the internet earlier today of some nude students protesting don’t take away our coverage, meaning you know, Obamacare covers them until the age of 26, supposedly.

And I was rather touched by it, because these must be the last twelve people, twelve young people still singing the starry-eyed, hopeychangey balderdash from 2008.

*** This is a tremendous fall, and comprehensive fall, in almost record time. ***

I mean, this is beyond Carter. Carter was not a messiah. And what has happened to Obama is remarkable.

    [….]

HH: I’ve got to see if Duane can pull up Joe Biden talking about the new Republican Party, because the Vice President is unique.

If they switch out, if Bob Woodward is right and it’s on the table that they switch out, it won’t be a mortal blow to talk radio, but it will certainly be a knockdown.

I’ll have to lay me down and cry a while before to rise again. This is Joe Biden on the new Republican party, Mark Steyn.

JB: This is not your father’s Republican Party. This is the Republican tea party. No, this is a different deal, guys. This is not Bob Dole.

This is not Howard Baker. This is not straightforward conservative, conservative Republicans like the Tafts of the world.

This is a different breed of cat.

HH: You’re a different breed of cat, Mark Steyn. What do you make of that?

MS: (laughing) I would like to believe that was true.

    HH: (laughing)

MS: I would love to believe that this is not Bob Dole and Howard Baker, but I worry, in fact.

I worry that after November, the sort of natural Dole/Bakerization ratchets will take effect, and we will, and this,

*** the so-called new breed of Republican cat will turn out to be just some, you know, moth-eaten pussy that purrs with delight when the Democrats roll him over on his back and scratch his tummy. ***

    HH: (laughing)

MS: Because if that happens, we are going to be, as I said the last time I was on your show, Hugh, I think we are setting up prerevolutionary conditions if that were to happen.

HH: Don’t you think it’s just so amusing, though? John Boehner and Mitch McConnell are some kind of Thomas Paine-like proto-revolutionaries?

MS: Yeah, and I think this is not really going to, really not going to work.

I mean, I think it’s fascinating the limited number of candidates they’ve been able to demonize.

You know, they may be able to have some impact on the race in Delaware, and maybe in Nevada, although that his not clear.

But what is fascinating is that this time round, the disaster of what the Democrats have done is so great

that the old, good time politics of personal destruction that’s worked so well for Bill Clinton, that just is not going to work this time.

HH: And Mark, are we going to get you on Election night? Are you going to be available? Or are you working somewhere that night?

MS: (laughing) Well, you mean by that, am I accepting a lesbian award somewhere in Scandinavia that night?

HH: No, I mean if you’re…

MS: I’ll interrupt the lesbian award festivities and join you if I can.

Glenn Beck: 12 Signs Economy May Tank

    http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,601882,00.html

Let me go back to this book that I showed you yesterday. It’s written by Stuart Chase.

I showed this and I told you we had a hard time finding this. You can’t find this in New York. We had to go to, I think, to a library in Arkansas to actually find it. This isn’t a well-known book.

It is written by Stuart Chase, “The Road We Are Traveling,” 1914-1942. This is what he said — he said, something is happening to capitalism.

He wrote this in the 1940s.

Something is happening to capitalism, it’s either turning into fascism, communism or state capitalism, which is what China is — which they say now is the new model.

He says free enterprise, but we’re just going to call it turning into something marked “x.”

When he gets to property, he says, “There’s not much taking over of property or industries in the old socialistic sense.”

Listen to this — “The formula appears to be control without ownership.

It is interesting to recall the same formula is used by the management of great corporations in depriving stockholders of power.”

You got it? Who is this guy? We should know this, man, because he is the guy who coined the phrase the “New Deal.”

If you look at what he talks about in the ’40s about what’s coming and how you just take over industries, you don’t just seize them because that’s socialistic — it is exactly what Barack Obama has done.

They took over control of industries.

Put yourself in the progressive mindset. Put yourself — put the stained glass window back up.

Put yourself in the progressive mindset that the free market is evil and must be stopped.

They are pounding at the globe to reshape it nearer to their heart’s desire.

I’ll have more on that in a few minutes because that’s one line of a very famous poem that people don’t know.

And you have to understand the poem.

Not enough people get that there are people on earth that want to remake the globe, fundamentally transform.

Progressives have been playing this game for a very long time. And it is a vicious cycle and it only ends up in even more government control.

    Back in a minute.

    Oh Very Young

Oh very youngWhat will you leave us this time

You’re only dancing on this earthFor a short while

And though your dreams may tossAnd turn you now.

They will vanish away -Like your Daddy’s best jeans

Denim blue fading up to the sky

And though you want him to last.Forever you know he never will(You know he never will)

And the patchesMake the goodbye harder still.

Oh very youngWhat will you leave us this time

There’ll never be a better chanceTo change your mind

And if you want this worldTo see (a better day)

Will you carryThe words of love with you

Will you rideThe great white bird into heaven

And though you want to last.Forever you know you never will(You know you never will)

And the goodbyeMakes the journey harder still.

Oh very youngWhat will you leave us this time

You’re only dancing on this earthFor a short while

Oh very youngWhat will you leave us this time.

We are still swimming here in the Valley of the Sun

    Eat your heart out!

And the doggies love to swim.

And they seem to love the music, too.
